Somebody knocked on the door and I frowned, getting up from my spot by the window. I walked down the stairs to the door and unlocked it, opening it slowly. Liam stood there, by himself. I jumped back and stood a bit behind the door to protect myself. Even though Liam was the only one who didn't hit me, just insulted me, I was still scared because who knows what he's capable of.
"W-What are you doing h-here?" I stammered, looking at the floor.
"We need to talk.. Can I come in?" He asked and I gulped, opening the door some more and he stepped in.
He awkwardly walked into my living room and sat on my couch and I sat on the love seat on the other side of the room.
"Sidney, I'm sorry." He said, the words coming out fast.
"What?" I asked, thinking that I heard wrong.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all of the years that I have hurt you and called you horrible names. I'm so sorry." He said, looking into my eyes.
I didn't know what to say, so I just stayed silent. I was scared to answer because I could respond with the wrong answer and then ruin everything. Liam Payne just apologized.
"Can we become friends.. Maybe?" He asked and I looked at him slowly, nodding.
"Sure." I said and he smiled, I mimicked his actions.
"What about Niall, Harry, Liam, and Louis? They're probably not gonna be happy about you doing this." I said quietly and he sighed.
"I'm still friends with them, but that doesn't mean that I can't be friends with you. I told them that I was gonna do this today."
Great. I'm happy about the whole new friendship thing going on between Liam and I, but I know that Niall was gonna do anything to ruin me, and Liam probably wouldn't even help me, no matter how close we are.
"Sidney, are you okay?" He asked and I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Uh.. Y-y-yeah. I'm fine." I said quickly and stood up.
"Okay. Well, I'm gonna go now.. Natalie is probably waiting on me." He said. Natalie is his girlfriend and she is gorgeous.
We said awkward goodbyes and I walked to my kitchen and ran a hand through my hair. I wonder if Liam will hide from me at school. It wasn't long after Liam left that my mom got home.
"Hello mother." I said, as she chopped up the onions she brought home and threw them into the pot of stew.
"Hi Honey," she said and wiped her forehead. "where's your brother?" She asked and as if on cue, my big brother, Dan, walked in the door.
He was sweaty from football practice and he walked into the kitchen, inhaling the smell from dinner. He talked to my mom and then announced that he was going to shower. He walked by me and ruffled my hair.
"Hey sis."
"Hey bro."
That's all.

--Thursday--
Me and Natalie, Liam's girlfriend, met the other day and we hit it off. She's exactly like me. And all we did was laugh. I could see her being one of my great girlfriends.
I frowned, holding my book tightly trying to concentrate but it was impossible with my dad, brother, and mom jumping up from the couch screaming at the football game. Dan and my father high-fived each other and they plopped onto the couch again, watching intensely. I decided to get up and go to my room and try to get some sleep since I had nothing better to do. I got in my bed and laid my head on the pillow, setting an alarm for tomorrow morning, but then I realized that tomorrow we have an off day. I unset my alarm happily and closed my eyes, but I was wide awake and couldn't get any sleep at all. I heard thumps that sounded like they were coming out side. I frowned, thinking it was my imagination but then they came again and I opened my eyes to see little pebbles hitting my window.
