Liv's POV

The drive wasn't that long. It was pretty nice, driving through all the trees and woods looking at the shadows of the leaves and the light shining through the gaps between the trees. We drove up a long narrow street surrounded by thousands if trees. I couldn't believe that Jackson lived here. There was acres of land. There had to be other people living here because his house looked like a castle. He stopped the car by the stairs leading to the house and Charlotte led Scarlett, Grayson and I to our room, while Jackson and Broady got our bags. We walked in to a giant room of people walking around the hall of the castle. There was a giant stair case on the side of the room that kept going up and led to different parts of the castle. Charlotte found her dad and they led us into our room. The room was gigantic and I was separated into three rooms, one for each of us, so I could watch Scarlett and Grayson. Our bags were already in our rooms.
"Please stay as long as you want. I'll explain exactly why you are here in the morning. For now I've put a room on your bed for you to read to explain some things." Mr.woods said politely.
" Thank you." I answered.
" I'll let you unpack your bags and settle in. We will have breakfast in the morning. Get some rest." Mr. Woods said as he shut the door.
I sat on my bed. I didn't know what to do. Why am I here again? Why did I have to leave even though I wanted to leave that hell hole. shit. now to explain everything to Scarlett and Grayson. I'll let them unpack their bags in their room before I say anything. Well I don't really know what to say exactly. I'm surprised they settled in so well. Before they went to bed I sat down in between them.
"So Im guessing you guys want to keno why we are here." I say as I sit down. "Well I don't really now how to say this but we aren't ur average human family, we are werewolves." I pause and the start to giggle. "I'm serious. The mom and dad that we left aren't our real parents. We are here to know more about our real parents and how to control our wolf. You know how you guys are stronger and quicker than other kids your age." They nod. " well you have certain powers that you can learn to control. We are going to stay here for most of the time and I will find out more information about our real parents. We will talk more in the morning but try to make new friends here I guess. Stick with each other I don't want to loose you guys. We will stay her for most of the time..." I didn't know what else to say. There was a long pause but I can see they were actuall taking in and fitting the pieces together.
" Wait we change into a wolf." Grayson said.
"Well yeah. At a full moon but here you will control your wolf. I don't know how but that's why we are here." I say. I didn't want then to ask anymore questions. I'll let them sleep on it.
"Okay. Night guys. Save your other questions for the morning." I said as I shut their door.
"Okay good night." they replied.
I went into my room and I sat on my bed. I started to read the book about wolves. The cover was a plain reddish maroon color with gold embroidering. There were gold letter and symbols that I didn't understand but I opened the book anyway. I started to read about the moon, our mates, our strengths and weaknesses. Certain wolves can have certain powers and other stuff. It all seemed fake but I guess I'll find out.
I walked into the bathroom to wash my face. I turned the cold water and looked into the mirror and I saw her. My wolf. Her light skin with hair gray and white with a little black at the end of the fur. She looked weak. I looked up to her eyes and she disappeared. she was beautiful and fragile. I turned off the water and went back into the room. I put on my short pajama shorts and a long sleeve tee because I get hot and cold at night. I laid on my bed thinking. Thinking about the castle, my wolf, Scarlett and Grayson, my old parents.?everything. I was going to pick the book back up but I was to tired and and I was to stressed out to even learn more. There was supposed to be a giant rain/lighting/wind storm tomorrow in the morning so I don't have to go to school. I had so much school work to catch up on but ugh that made me think about my bruises. The pain was gone, just left over purple splotches. A cool whip of air went through the room so I went under the sheets and pulled them up to my face. I guess this is going to be my new home for now. Is this my home? Is this where I'm supposed to be for the rest of my life? The castle.. I wondered where Jackson's room is or how many people live here. I jump out of of bed when I hear a knock on my door.

Jackson's POV

As I was walking back to my room I couldn't stop thinking that my mate was living in my house. I had to see her, but she was just settling in. I went out side for a run. I had to think. How can I tell her everything? She knows nothing, this is why I rejected her in the first place. I didn't want her to go through any pain or trouble. I could just be an alpha with a thousand of bitches around me begging for me, but that would be bad for my pack. I'm going to be the next alpha I need my mate beside me and strong but she doesn't even know her wolf. I ran Back home when I realized it was getting late and I've been running for an hour or two. I walk up the stairs into the castle. I realized I was just roaming the castle for 10 minutes. I decided to go to Olivia's room. I didn't know what I was going to do but I needed to see her. I knocked on the door. She didn't answer the door that quickly. She opened the door and it looked like she was just wearing a oversized long sleeve shirt. My wolf wanted to dive right into her. She is beautiful. With her hair in a messy bun she opened her mouth and tried to close the door but I grabbed it and walked in. I sat on the dresser. I still didn't know why I came here.
"Why are you here?" she asked annoyed. She looked really cute when she was mad.
" Umm.. I wanted to show you the castle." I said.
" Isn't it a little late." She replied back quickly.
" Psh no. It's the best time because no one is around." I sad with a quirky smile on my face.
"Fine." she said as she grabbed her slippers and walked out the door as I followed.
She was beautiful. They way she walked, her skin, her smile. Wait what am I talking about I'm just using her for my mate for the pack she isn't anything special. Ugh she stunning.
We walked down the hall and I showed her the great hall where she first entered.
"This is where people usually talk to discuss things or to meet people." I said.
"Cool." she said with her eyes amazed at all the detail.
We walked into other rooms with desks and paper where people organized and worked the castle and other random rooms. We can to a flight of stairs and went up. I showed her the dining hall where we all eat, other rooms for guests and people in the pack. We went up to another flight of stairs when the wash room was and the cleaning supplies and the kids playrooms and areas with TVs and video games. We had an indoor field for the kids to play. We went on the other side of the building of show her the gardens and the emergency room out side he castle invade anyone was injured. I showed her other houses that were outside the castle for guests of other packs. we walked by the training room and the window showing the training area for tests. I basically shows her the whole castle except my room, until we got there.
"What room is this?" Liv asked.
"Mine." I said with a corny smile.
"Can I take a look?" Liv said jokingly.
"Sure you can test out the bed." I said with a little laugh. What was I doing? I didn't want her. She's just my mate. I don't even like her, but my wolf does. Her beautiful body sat down on my bed. My wolf wanted to jump out at her and declare her mine, she was mine. I needed her to be apart of me, to be my second half. I couldn't though she's just a regular girl, why did I desperately need her. I took off my shirt n had my tank on and I also changed into sweatpants. I sat down next to Olivia and she grabbed my hand. I could feel the warmth between us. I wanted her, I needed her. Hi - her voice entered my head. She wasn't just a human girl. She is my wolf. Hey - I said back and we talked the whole night laying in my bed without speaking a word out of my mouth. Eventually we were both tired and fell asleep cuddling until the morning sun rose.
