CHASITY'S POV
"Chasity! Wait up!" twisting on the pump of my hot pink staletto, I saw the school nerd charging down the hall towards me. It's times like these I wish I carried sprayable lysol around in my- if I do say so myself- fabulous Micheal Kors book bag.
"Can I help you-" I pause before spitting "dork"
"Uh-ahem-um"
"Exuse me, but I don't have time to listen to losers stammer in my presance"
"I-I'm sorry, but um I was wondering if you are going to prom next week?"
"Ha, if you're thinking about asking me, don't bother"
"N-no-"
I cut the blabbering bafoon infront of me off. "What did I say about the stammering? I don't have all day." He looks at me with big eyes. Good god.
"I wasn't going to ask you, it's just I'm on the yearbook comitee and I was hoping to snap a few pictures of the schools queen bee in her natural habbitat." He stutters with a half shy smile.
"Why? For your creepy shrine?" I say with a sneer and a scoff. He frowns and looks at his feet. For a mere second I feel kind of bad so I quickly start talking again.
"Of course I will be there, I'm the most popular girl in this building and between you and me, scratch that, the whole school, I think we all know I'm going to be prom queen."
"O-of course." he almost whispers.
"Are we done here? I have actual people to see." I look at him in disgust.
He gives a slight nod and steps to the side, still looking down at his god awful shoes. I step around him and continue down the hall.
"Chas!" I slowly stop to be greeted by my best friend Alison wearing the navy blue and white floral high-low skirt and the navy crop top we bought together last weekend. Her long black hair swaying behind her as she walked at a record speed in her new gladiators.
"Hey Al." I say with a smile.
"So what were you doing talking to that nerd Max earlier?"
"Ugh how'd you know about that? That freak didn 't go around telling everyone we're friends or something did he?"
"Ha. No he didn't, although I wouldn't be surprised. His kind would do anything to be noticed by us, or by anyone for that matter." She says as her slim face scrunches. "I guess someone just saw you two talking and we both know how fast word travels in this school."
"Yeah you're right." I reply with a simple shrug. We continue down the hall together towards our first period class with Mr. Tryveck who might I add is twenty eight, single, and hot enough to melt a popsicle.
"As long as he didn't breathe on you. It would be a shame to have to burn that outfit of yours, I actually want to borrow it." She smiles.
I laugh as I slide into my seat beside Al in the middle of the plain beige math classroom that I have spent the past four years in.
About five minutes into the class, which is intensely boring may I add, I felt a rough jab in my left shoulder
Swiftly turning around I receive a sharp jab into my left breast.
"Oops"
"Cam, are you seriously high right now?" I ask as his red, glazed eyes set lazily on mine.
"Maybe, maybe I'm not. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY LIFE." Cam sputters a little too loudly.
"If anything Cam, I know too much so shut up before you get us both in trouble you moron."
"Cool your overactive hormones Chas."
Scoffing I turn back around facing the front, catching a quick glimpse of Cameron's sloppy smirk. I just roll my eyes and pretend to do the work assigned.
That's our future prom king for you. Cameron Delamire. The schools biggest player, my ex boyfriend, sitting behind me high. The thought makes me gag.
One of the pluses of going to school in sunny California is the surf team. Every Tuesday is practice, which by the way means hot boys in wet suits and of course the coach, Mr.Tryveck.
"Ivy, don't forget about the practice tonight." Mr.Tryveck says to a blonde girl sitting in the corner of the class.
"Yeah, I'll be there." She replies with a smirk.
That must be Ivy Marks, apparently she's one of the best athletes this schools got. She's actually kind of pretty. If only she didn't care about sports so much she might actually have potential as a cheerleader, on the bottom of course. What am I thinking, theres no way a tomboy like that could EVER make an impression.
Ten minutes later the bell rang and I got up quicker than lightning making sure to bend butt out towards my handsome teachers desk while grabbing my books.
I walked down the hall while texting Alison since our next class was sadly not together. I felt a slight impact making me lose my balance for a slight second. Regaining my stamina, I look at the pale girl that just ran into me.
"Ugh, watch where you're going freak. These shoes cost more than your house."
She gives me the stink eye revealing her dim blue eyes and wavy brown hair.
"I swear, if one more contaminated rodent like you runs into me today, I'm going to have to call for a quarantine!" I say through gritted teeth in frustration.
"If I have to deal with one more snotty bitch like you today, I might just throw up." She says giving me a cold glare. Seriously, if it was possible, I would be an ice cube.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that you-you UUGGHH!"
I push through this nameless bitch and head towards the ladies room trying to breathe in and out to calm myself down, I however did not suceed, I start to shake. That bitch just challened me.
I stepped infront of the devistatingly small bathrrom mirror to look at my reflection, I of course looked fabulous as usual. My poker straight blonde hair falling perfectly over my shoulders reaching just below my chest, framing my delicate face, making my eyes pop wonderfully.
I pull my shimmer-shine cherry lipgloss out of my book bag and apply a thin layer to the bottom lip smaking them together giving my lips a look of fullness. Perect. I flip my hair and exit the foul smelling bathroom.
