"Ugh, man my head."
"Ugh, I have to get up... I don't want to be late for school."
I open my to see... "AAAHHH WHERE AM I?"
What I was expecting to see was my little cosy bedroom with purple walls, a brown bookshelf and desk, a white wardrobe and bedside table.
But, what I actually can see is what appears to be a deserted railway line.
The gray cement is cracked and crumbled in places, the tracks are broken in half, and there's a train on its side the windows appear to be cracked, but I cant make out too much detail due to the dim light coming in from the roof? I'm standing on a train platform but now that I'm actually looking up, the roof appears to be made out of stone...?
And that's when I work it out, it seems I'm in a cave of some sort.
"It's ok Samantha, everything is going to be just fine... Yep sure I don't know where in the world I am right now, but everything going to be ok." I say out loud to myself.
"It's all just a crazy dream right? Yep I'm dreaming and I'm going to wake up any moment... PLEASE WAKE UP!"
Suddenly I hear; "Please wake up, please wake up, please wake up..." "Oh it's just my echo..." Maybe I should go for a walk and try to find a way out. "Yes, that's what I'll do. Just take a walk.." I say weakly to myself. Now which way should I go, to my left or right?
Both directs looked just the same, nothing but total darkness.
I'll go right I think to myself, but just has I'm about to go, I remember the train.
"Maybe there's something I can use" I mutter to myself as if it could somehow fill the loneliness in air.
So I walk toward the train the feeling of loneliness and fear only increase with each step.
I arrive at the train and carefully climb up, once I'm up I wipe off a thick layer of dust which said: Dystopia.
"Dystopia..Dystopia... What does that even mean?" I whisper.
Afraid of what I might find I carefully craw over to the cracked window I look for an object I can use to breaking in the window and remove excess glass, because the last thing I need to do is badly injure myself.
Strangely enough I see a steel pole that's about a meter long right to my left, "didn't see that before" I said.
So I reach out and grab it with my left hand. Position myself in front of the window, get on both knees and swing the pole with everything I've got. A loud shatter echoed though the air, increasing the pace of my heart which was already going one-hundred miles an hour.
I remove excess glass with the pole and look down, there doesn't appear to be any dead bodies or anything I think to myself. I decide to keep the pole with me, just any case I need it, and jump in.
Glass cracked under my feet.
I look around and see a lantern and a pack of matches, "perfect" I slip the matches in my pocket and notice for the first time that I'm not wearing my pyjamas but instead my dark blue jumper and black tracksuit pants. "Strange" I mutter.
Now all I need is oil or something else so I can light the fire. I look around and see the oil for the lantern lying on the ground it appears to be half full, so I fill the lantern and strike a match. I take one last look around for anything I can use, I'm half tempered to go into the cabins but what if there's bodies in there? Rather not. I climb out holding the lantern with my mouth and the pole my left hand.
Ok now where should I go? The light from the full moon now has moved and offering no more light, the only light now is my lantern.
"Ok Samantha think logically trains only go through the tunnels for so long before leaving into daylight or nightlight that works..."
The train seemed to be facing the left, so I'll go left instead of right.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
