Chapter 2
Lily's P.O.V
Jake looked liked he had been torn to pieces. He had tears in his eyes. It made me upset just looking at him. I haven't seen him like this since dad died.
"Jake, are you ok? What's wrong?" I said sadly while wiping the tears from my eyes.
"Well, em, em. I kind of got my captaincy taken from me because I started a fight with a Frankie because he tripped me up so I got a bit angry and punched him in the face," He said stuttering a bit.
"Jake, oh I'm so sorry, but you shouldn't of punched him. Its football everyone gets hurt. If it was deliberate or not but you know violence is not the answer," I said a little annoyed that he lost his temper on the football field.
"I also kind of broke his nose," Jake whispered.
"WHAT! YOU DID WHAT!!!!! SERIOUSLY YOU ARE AN IDIOT!! NO WONDER YOU LOST YOUR CAPTAINCY! HE ONLY BLOODY TRIPPED YOU UP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!"I shouted at him, I felt guilty after words though, I never normally swear, but c'mon he broke someone's nose for practically nothing!! I had to run up to my room to calm down.
Jake's P.O.V
Ok I was upset a little bit for losing my captaincy but that was only half of it. Nick told Billy that he thought Lily, my little sister was cute and he fancies her and has for a while. Oh My God I know he liked her a little when we were kids but I thought he was over her. He supposed to be my best friend and I told all the guys to lay off my sister. I don't even want to imagine seeing Nick and Lily kiss. That just makes me feel sick!! What if he hurts her I would have to beat him up and maybe break his nose or worse!!
I know I sound really protective but she is my little and has been through so much already. I suppose maybe Billy could be lying. I hope he is. I guess I will just ask Nick tomorrow if its true, but for just now I'll try and forget about it and play some Call of Duty on my X-Box 360, that will make me feel better.
I went up to my room to play the game. I couldn't concentrate properly though, I couldn't get the image of Lily kissing Nick out of my head. I mentally slapped and tried to get on with my game
Lily's P.O.V
I was lying on my bed thinking about what Jake had done. Its not like him. I know he's strong and all but I didn't think he would do that. He's not that type of guy. There must be something else on his mind, that's made him upset. I wonder what it is? It wouldn't be that he broke someone's nose or that he lost his captaincy, he wouldn't have tears in his eyes and stuttering when talks because of that. There's something else wrong with him.
I went through to Jake's room to find him playing his x-box this was a bad sign. He wouldn't be concentrating on what I said to him now but I tried to get through to him.
"Jake, I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you. I was being a bit harsh. You didn't deserve that, I'm sorry, could you forgive me??? Hello, Jake, are you listening Jake?" I said He was too busy playing his game. I went over turned off the x-box and tried again.
"Hey, what was that for there is no need," He moaned at me.
"I am trying to apologise to you but you wouldn't listen!!"
"off course I will forgive you your my little sis," He said with a cheesy smile on his face.
"come here, c'mon," He said.
I walked over to him and he gave me a huge hug. I shrugged him off me because I was getting squashed by his manly arms.
"Right, I'm going to my bed, Love you good night," I said.
"Ok, night, remember we need to go to school earlier tomorrow because I have football training. Okay, love you too sis," he said kissing me on the top of my head and pulling me in for an other hug.
"Get off me now, I'm tired," I said, while shoving him off.
Then i ran so he couldn't hug me again. I jumped into my bed and fell asleep within minutes.

Morning!!

I woke up earlier this morning as promised to my brother as he has football practice. I had a quick shower and then went down for breakfast. I had a bowl of cereal and Jake had the same. Then we hurried of to school. We arrived at school just in time for Jakes football training. It was an hour before the bell, so I decided to get my stuff ready and start revising for upcoming tests. So I went to get my books from my locker.
My locker is on the second floor, next to my favourite classrooms, the maths classrooms. I opened my locker with my key and reached in to get my books and then shut the door softly not wanting to make a noise because it was so silent already. I looked up the hall not expecting to see any one but I did!! I looked more closely and realised it was Nick kissing a girl. Wait wasn't he supposed to be at training?!?
