Chapter 4
Lily's P.O.V
"What the hell?!" I shouted at her after she slapped me.
"You got that one for calling me a slut!! And this one is for ruining my moment!!" She shouted back., while slapping me a second time.
"You are so stupid, you think you get everything!! Well just you wait until my brother hears about this!! Then you'll be sorry!!" I said, while kicking her shin.
"Ouch," She said as she screamed out in pain. "Don't you dare tell your brother!! I suppose though he's the only one you can speak to because your mum is dead and your dad committed suicide just to get away from you!!" She said with an evil smile on her make-up caked face!!
"He did not," I said weakly back, feeling tears running down my face. I went to through a punch at her mouth but she caught my hand, dug her nails in to my wrist and used her other hand to punch me in the jaw and nose. My nose started gushing with blood, so did my lip!! "At least I have friends and a proper family," she shouted. I couldn't say anything back so I ran!!
I had to get out of here!! I shoved her out the way and ran. I heard someone shouting my name I think it was Nick but I didn't look back.
"Lily lily stop!!!!" Nick shouted. I made it to the janitors closet and locked the door. I heard someone banging on the door. "Lily, Lily, come out!! Please I'll drive you home," Nick shouted I could tell it was him. If he was here to come and nag at me about him and Rachel I wasn't having it. I could her sorrow in his voice but I wasn't opening the door to anyone the now. I was just going to sit here in till the end of the day, when there was one left in the building. "Lily, open up please," he said. I couldn't open the door. My hands were to shaky. How could she say that?? She knows nothing about me or my private life!! You don't just make fun of someone because they're parents are both dead!! Its just not right!! Even if you get angry you shouldn't joke about death. I hate her!!
I heard a key come into the door, and few seconds later the door was open, with Nick standing there, twirling the keys on his finger. He had guilt in his eyes. "Right Lily, get up!! C'mon, I'll drive you home and stay with you until your brother gets back," He said, and lifted me up of the ground and hugged me. I felt sparks shoot through my body when he touched me!! It felt weird!! I was still crying though, I got his t-shirt all wet, but it doesn't seem like he cared.
Nick's P.O.V
I saw the whole fight. I felt so guilty. When Rachel punched Lily, I broke to pieces. I wanted to go and tackle Rachel to the ground and hurt her!! I couldn't do that though, that would just give me a bad record!! I would be kicked of the team as well. When I saw Lily run away, I followed her, shouting for her to stop, but she wouldn't. She didn't even look back. She ran into the janitors closet and locked the door. I was banging on the door and telling her to open it, but she didn't. I could still here her cry through a wall. I have only ever seen her cry twice, because she never really gets upset. I got the keys from the janitor and unlocked the door. She just sat there looking up at me still, sobbing. I hated seeing her like this.
I helped her up and told her I would take her home. She didn't say anything. I gave her a hug and something clicked, like she was made for me. It felt so good!! That just confirmed that I loved her. While hugging me, she got my shirt wet, but I didn't care. I took her out to my car and opened the door for her. I walked round the other side and got in as well. I turned o the engine and handed her a tissue. "Sorry," I said.
"for what?" she asked back.
"For shouting at you and all these bruises are probably because of me too," I said apologetically.
"Its ok, but you still owe me remember?!?" she said with a smile on her face. That made me smile as well. I need to tell her I love her soon or I'll end up doing something stupid.
We arrived at Lily's house, she was sleeping. She looked so cute!!! I unbuckled her seatbelt and carried her bridal style in. I laid her on her bed and wrote her a note saying: Dear Lily, I hope you find this when you wake up. You fell asleep on the way back from school so I laid you in your bed!! Don't worry I'll speak to Rachel tomorrow. I am going to break-up with her. I still owe you and I'll do whatever you want me to do!! See You later Nick x
Jake's P.O.V
One of Lily's teachers told me she had went home. I wonder why?? When I got home, I found Lily up stairs in her bedroom sleeping. When I saw her, covered in cuts in bruises, I got worried. Then I found a note on her dressing table, it was from Nick!! Why the hell was he in her room, and writing her notes!! Then I read the note, he drove her home, saw her and obviously knew what happened to her and plus he was doing Rachel behind my back!! He's DEAD!! "Lily get up now," I shouted at her. She woke up suddenly, startled at the sound of my voice!! "Em, hi," she said tiredly. "I want to know and I want to know now!!" I shouted, getting angrier.
"What do you want to know??" She asked innocently.
"About Nick driving you home, Rachel and Nick and why your covered in cuts and bruises??" I shouted getting louder and louder!!
She went silent........
