"Darlings, we are leaving. Take care- and don't fight too much, okay?"

"No promises." Jennie rolled her eyes at the smirking boy who is staring at her, before hugging her mom. "Come back early, okay?"

"No promises." Mrs Kim grins, as she leaves with her husband, and the Lee's family, excluding their eldest son, Lee Taeyong.

It has been three months since the Lee's family moved in the Kim's family's mansion- as their own mansion was caught on fire. Since it will take around four years to rebuild the mansion, Mrs Kim- who is friends with Mrs Lee since elementary school, decided to let them stay at her family's mansion since they are plenty of rooms were empty.

And that is how Jennie, the only child of the Kim's family, met Taeyong, the eldest child of the Lee's family.

It is true- he is damn fucking attractive. But that is all. He loves to tease her weaknesses. Like- how she doesn't know how to cook but he is a great cook. Yeah- things like that which annoys her to the max.

"Let's just pretend that I don't know you and you don't know me, deal?" Jennie said before showing her pinky finger in the air.

"Deal." He smirks, before doing the same.

Jennie rolled her eyes again, before moving towards her room, which is just beside his.

Well- let's see if she could even last for a day without him.

-

She was awake- as the clock strikes 1 in the morning. Her stomach has been grumbling like crazy- since it has been at least 10 hours when she last ate.

She walks towards the kitchen- only to remember that she has zero cooking skills. And that includes of not knowing how to turn on the stove as well.

Her eyes wander around before it landed on one particular door.

Looks like someone's beauty sleep is going to be disturbed.

-

"You said to pretend that you didn't exist."

"I didn't say that."

"So what's with that pinky promise?"

"We didn't lock our fingers so that doesn't count."

He sighed. "What a shameless girl."

"Excuse me?" She raised her voice. "Let's not forget the fact that this is my house!"

"Then I will leave, princess." He rolled his eyes before grabbing his car keys and coat.

She, on the other side, was a bit flustered when he called her princess. Aish, what am I thinking? She shrugged the thought off before chasing after him.

She quickly grabbed his wrist- stopping him. "Okay- okay, I'm sorry."

He gasped- as the car keys he was holding- slipped from his grip as it fell onto the floor. "You are what?"

"I am sorry." She pouts. And he was more taken aback. "Are you even Jennie?" He dramatically clutched his chest- making her to roll her eyes before smacking his arms.

"Funny." She sarcastically laughed.

"Thank you for the compliment."

"How can a handsome guy like you be so damn annoying?" She muttered- before widening her eyes when he could actually hear her.

"What? Did you just said that I was handsome-"

"-no!" She yelled- sounding so offensive. "You heard it the wrong way-"

Jennie was way too surprised when she found herself being pinned on the wall- with his damn fucking handsome face right in front of her.

"W-What are you doing?"

He smirked at her flustered reaction. Cute, he thought. He decided to tease her little more- by leaning in way closer as he nuzzles his nose on hers. "Nervous?"

"Y-Yah-" It's amusing- seeing the all-time-feisty Jennie Kim, stuttering like this.

He laughed before pinching her nose. "Don't worry much- I won't take advantage on you like this."

Damn. Her heart fluttered at his sentence. At least- he is a responsible guy.

"Come- I'll teach you how to cook ramyeon."

She finally sees the gentle side of him.

-

"And this- is how you cook ramyeon."

Jennie squeals in excitement as she grabbed her chopsticks. "Thank you for the food!" She beams a smile- before taking a bite.

He smiles- looking at her delightful reaction. What a cutie.

"Your food is the best!" She slurps the noodles hungrily. "It's better than my mom's- really." He cracked up at her statement. "I'll go to sleep first-"

"-no!" She stopped him halfway. "Can you- stay? I mean- it's dark and it's already 2 in the morning and I'm kinda scared."

She somehow looked so fragile in his eyes at that moment. And he suddenly felt the urge to protect her. "Okay- I'll take a nap at the couch first. Wake me up when you're done."

"Okay." She smiles.

He was already in a deep sleep when she finally slurped the last piece of noodle of her ramyeon.

"Taeyong ah?" She whispered a few times- as she shakes his arms slowly- yet he doesn't move at all. "It looks like you're experiencing a nice dream."

She decided to go up to her room- as she dragged her blanket and few pillows with her. She then lifted Taeyong's head slowly before putting her pillow under it.

Next, she puts her own pillow beside him- as she joins him on the couch- cause why not? She then put her blanket on top of them- before melting in his warm embrace.

"Good night, Taeyong ah."

-

"Kids, we're back-"

Mrs Kim chokes in the air when she saw the sight of her daughter, cuddling with Mrs Lee's son. "Siyeon ah!"

Mrs Lee- who just got out from the car- as she rushed over towards Mrs Kim. "What-" She, too, choked in the air as soon as she saw the sight.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Mrs Lee nodded- as she grins widely. "When should we hold the ceremony?"

"As fast as we could? What about the end of this year?"

"What ceremony?"

They both turned their heads- only to see both their children- looking at them with sleepy-ass face. "Why did you come back so early? I thought you're coming back tomorrow?" Jennie questions.

"We finished the meeting early."

"Ahhh."

"Now- what ceremony?" Taeyong repeated the question.

"Uhh- your wedding?"
