"i received a text from seunghwan today." jennie mumbles as she moves closer, indulging herself into her man's warm embrace. "he asked me out for a lunch."

"seunghwan?" taeyong frowns. "isn't that your ex boyfriend? your first love?" despite feeling uneasy, he gently wraps his left hand around her petite waist and pulls her closer, as there was barely a space between them.

"yeah. it has been more than five years since i last saw him." she then peeks at taeyong, and she held her laughter after seeing how red his face was. "why? are you jealous?"

"i'm not exactly jealous. it's just-" she lifts her face and shut him with her lips.

"there's no need for you to be jealous, you're my last love." she whispered against his lips, before pressing another quick kiss on his jaw this time.

"since when did you become this affectionate, huh?" taeyong raised his eyebrow at his girlfriend's weird antics, yet he loved it anyway.

"i installed a dating app on my phone, and i learned from there." jennie slips her fingers into his pajamas, before circling them around his waist, which is his weak spot. he lets out a fit of giggles as he tries to escape from her embrace.

"hey, it tickles! stop-" well, two can play a game. taeyong trapped her in between his arms before attacking her neck with featherly kisses, earning a fit of giggles from her this time around.

"ahh, it tickles! i'm sorry-" taeyong decided to double his attacks and slips his hand into her pajamas before tickling her small waist, as well as kissing her neck simultaneously.

"i-i give up! s-stop, i'm sorry!" she yelled on top of her lungs before rolling aside, as she lands on him, pressing her (not so heavy) weight against him.

taking deep breaths to recover from such heavy laughter before, she hid her face at the crook of his neck, as she blows soft air onto his earlobe.

"the love coach on the dating app have been married for 12 years, and she have 2 daughters. they're really, really cute when i saw their pictures on the coach's display picture."

"really?" taeyong listens carefully, as he raised his hands up and gently strokes her long, brown hair, loving the softness of her hair brushing against his calloused hands, as well as the apple scent radiating from it.

lovely.

"it makes me think, will i be able to have my own children in the future? i would love to have one, but i don't think it will come true..." she mumbles sadly, as she pouts against his shoulder.

"well, you can make babies with me." taeyong replies bluntly, earning him a soft bite on his shoulder.

"don't joke around!"

"what? i'm not joking!" he defends himself. "as if i will let you make babies with any other man." he says loud enough for her to hear.

"you're going to have babies with me, we are going to be the most gorgeous family on earth, and we will live happily ever after!"

she laughs at his enthusiasm. "how i wish it would be that easy..."

"hey, hey!" taeyong cups her small face, making her to look at him, before pressing a quick kiss against her lips. "it will, sweetheart. don't worry."

she smiles before pressing another kiss. "alright, i trust you."

as she realizes how his muscles started to get stiff under her weight, she rolled aside, before landing on the fluffy bed, right beside him.

"we have been dating for three years..."

"hmm?"

"but you've never told me anything about your first love." she could easily notice the uncomfortableness radiating from him as soon as she mentioned about it.

"it's okay if you don't-"

"-i was seventeen at that time." he cuts her off. "i went to a street food stall after practicing for the whole day. i ate a lot, two bowls of ramyeon and three rolls of assorted gimbap." he says, reminiscing the memory.

"but when i was about to pay, i realized that i didn't bring my wallet with me." he chuckled. "the owner was really mad, he was yelling like crazy, but then, there's this one noona who came and paid the food for me."

"that noona is your first love?" jennie questions, as her heart melts at his story.

taeyong nods. "i remember how she smiled at me. she have a very pretty smile. i didn't have the chance to meet her anymore after that. i don't know if it's exactly love- but at that short, fleeting moment, i felt warmth."

"well, love is so much more than attraction between two people, right?" taeyong turns to her, tucking a few strands of her hair behind her small ear, before kissing her forehead.

"like you. i felt warmth, peace and happiness everytime i'm with you. and that's how i decide that i love you."

"aww, i'm honored!" she squeals before hiding her face against his chest to hide her red cheeks. taeyong could only laugh at her cute antics before hugging her tightly.

"jennnie.."

"hmm?"

"one day, far, far away in the future, when i didn't have any strength to stand on stage anymore, when we are both satisfied with what we've become, will you have the honor to build a life with me?"

she feels like crying. 23 years of her life, never once a people described her and talks to her with so much love and tenderness beneath their voice.

only him.

"i would love too, taeyong."
