It's been exactly 3 weeks since you had last seen your boyfriend. He was angry at you for hanging out with your ex and you were angry at him for not trusting you. What made you angrier was that he dared to snoop around your phone and invaded your personal space. Many items were thrown and a few vases were broken. He left your apartment in a mess, leaving you to clean it all up.
Although your heart longed for him, you brain thought otherwise. You were disappointed at him for not trusting you. Your ex just wanted to have a friendly dinner with you and your boyfriend had to mistaken it for a 'date.' Did he really not trust you?
After a while of doing nothing, you decided to grab some fresh air. So you quickly put on a light jacket and headed outside.
Once you were out of your apartment building, you realized how long it's been since you stepped outside. The air felt fresher than ever and the soft wind soothed your body. You crossed the street and walked a couple blocks until you reached your favorite park. That exact park was the same park where you had you first date with your boyfriend. And also where you both first met. Sweet memories of your first date filled your mind as you sat down on a nearby bench. You lightly chuckled at how he accidently spilled soda on your pants and purposely spilled some on his to make sure you guys were even. You also remembered the time when you both were feeding some birds and a couple of them attacked him. He never once failed to make you smile, until 3 weeks ago.
Thinking about him wasn't such a good idea since your heart started to tell you to go call him up and apologize. You didn't want to be the one who apologized first because you did nothing wrong.
"Excuse me, is this seat available?" a voice asked. You were to busy thinking about your boyfriend and just nodded in reply. The person then sat down and faced the other way. Something felt odd about the stranger. He smelled so familiar to you. So, you decided to take a small peak at his figure. He was wearing a black t-shirt with some dark blue jeans and a snapback. You took a closer look at the snapback and realized how similar it was to the one you gave Hoseok for his birthday a couple months ago.
The guy felt like someone was starring at him and turned around. He was both shocked and a bit happy at what he saw. "y/n? Is that you?" He asked, catching you by surprise. You jumped back a bit when his face became clear. "H-Hoseok?" You asked. He nodded and started to smile. You didn't know what to do and kept a blank face. " I missed you, jagi." He said as he grabbed your hand and caressed it. You were about to fall for his act when you remembered that you both were fighting. You then quickly pulled your hand away and stood up. "y/n, what's wrong? Are you still angry about what happened 3 weeks ago? You still hate me don't you?" He asked, slowly standing up. Your blood started to boil when flashbacks of what happened the night of your fight appeared. "Of course I am! You didn't trust me, Hoseok. You accused me of cheating with my ex! You messed up my apartment! And you invaded my privacy! I don't hate you Jung Hoseok, I despise you!" You exploded.
One thing's for sure, he didn't expect that. Hoseok expected that since you weren't the type of person to hold grudges or be angry in general, you would've forgiven him by now. Oh boy, was he wrong. "I-I'm sorry y/n! I know I was wrong to accuse you of such thing. I was just being overprotective. And it's your ex we're talking about! Who knows you'll fall for his charms again and leave me. " He replied. One side of you understood what he meant, but the other side was too blinded by your anger. "That's what trust is for! You should've trusted me! You know I'm not going to leave you for him! Every time your ex visited, I was fine with you hanging out with her. Why? Because I trusted you!" You yelled again. Hoseok felt bad and lowered his head. He knew he should've done that, but what could he do? He was too afraid to lose you. "I know, y/n. I should've just trusted you." He replied. You wanted to forgive him, you really did. But your heart was just too hurt. "But you didn't." You replied.
Hoseok looked up with guilt in his eyes. "Please, y/n. Please forgive me. I love you and I need you. Please don't go away." He pleaded. You looked at him for one last time before shaking your head. "I'm sorry. I just can't right now." You said, tears already starting to fill your eyes. You took a step forward, but Hoseok stopped you. " Before you leave, look me in the eyes and tell me that you don't love me anymore."Hoseok said as tears escaped him eyes. You slowly turned around and looked him in the eyes. You took a deep breath in and forced yourself to not run into his arms and kiss him.
"I don't love you anymore, Jung Hoseok." You said, trying your best to not sound hesitant. With that, he let go of your arm as you started to walk away with tears streaming down your face.
