Artemis' POV

He pounced on me and I released the arrow and it hit his shoulder. He yelped but managed to knock me down and be on top of me. He attempted to claw and maul on me but I kept dodging his claws and jaws. I shook him off of me and I stood up and brought out my silver daggers then sliced him a bit but he managed to claw my arm and pounce on me again but this time... He bit my arm.
"AAAARRGG!!!!"
I punched him and threw his body to a tree. It stunned him, out of nowhere, I see Annabeth by my side. "P-Percy?"
He seemed to stop and I saw his eyes turn back to sea-green. Annabeth slowly walked towards Percy and he growled low but did not attack as she slowly walked towards him. She kneeled in front of him and touched his fur and he flinched a little and looked away. I knew he was trying to fight the beast within.

Percy's POV

No... Please... Get away from me Annabeth. Stay away from me.
I looked away and whimpered. Annabeth touched my fur and I flinched but she kept feeling my fur and layed her head on my side. I looked at her with confusion, but she looked in peace with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes and looked unto my eyes and petted my ears. "It's ok.... I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not giving up on you. I will help you all the way. I swear on the Styx." My eyes widen as thunder boomed when she made the oath. I smiled and I silently thanked her for getting rid of the monster that would've mauled her without hesitation. I saw Artemis walking towards us then kneeled down in front of me and put a hand on my head.
"As will I. Let us bring you back to your former self. Think to yourself as how you looked when you were a demigod.

I took her advice and closed my eyes and whimpered in pain as my bones cracked and switched into different positions as I turned human again.
I saw Annabeth blush crimson red and I was confused until I looked down and I was... NAKED!? I blushed just as red as Annabeth and I tried covering myself.
Artemis laughed a little and I was afraid that she was going to castrate me. Instead, she materialized a blanket and gave it to me, and I wrapped it around me as I got up and we walked to my cabin and I put on some pants but looked at the long drawn across scars on my chest and a new scar on my left cheek down to my upper lip.
Artemis put a hand on my shoulder and spoke with a little hint of sadness "I must go, I must take my chariot and take care of the moon."
I nodded and replied "I'm... Sorry for that bite. Will it...?"
Artemis shook her head "No. I won't turn. I do have my own wolf form."
I sighed in relief and was curious about her wolf form. I looked at Annabeth and spoke "I'm scared.... Scared that I will bite her and turn her into me, a monster.... Or worse."
I spoke with clear fear in my voice. Artemis pulled me into... A hug? "Shh.... That's why I'm here, as well as Annabeth." She spoke and I smiled with tears streaming down my cheeks. She disappeared and I sat down with Annabeth.

Annabeth's POV

I watched as Artemis and Percy exchange words and hugged. I didn't feel any jealousy because I know they would be great friends. She disappeared and Percy came over to me and sat next to me. "I'm scared" He said and I put a hand on his cheek and turned his head to me and I kissed him with loving passion. I felt his lips connect with me and I smiled.
"I'm always with you, Percy. I'm never leaving you, you are too important in my life for me to not help. I'll even bare this curse with you if it means staying with you."
I saw his eyes widen and he smiled and hugged me tightly. I gladly embraced him and I kissed his cheek. "But... I don't want you to be a monster like me." He said and I just smiled and shook my head. "No. I want you to bite me. Turn me into you. I will join you in whatever form or anywhere. If you leave, I leave with you." He looked shocked and hesitant but I felt his teeth pierce my shoulder and I whimpered in pain but held his head to my shoulder. Now... I can be with him for real. Not a human with a beast, instead, a beast and a beast together.
He took his teeth out and looked at me and I smiled and put a hand on his cheek "I love you, my Seaweed Brain."
"I love you too, my Wise Girl. Oh, I have a surprise for you tomorrow."
I was excited and wanted to know. "I can't wait."
I shared one last kiss with Percy then got up and walked out to my cabin.

The next day

I woke up and got clothes on and walked to the Mess Hall and saw Percy at his table having blue pancakes and he smiled at me. He got up and I saw an apple in his hand and he threw it at me and I caught it and my eyes widen as he walked towards me. "Percy? Did you do what I think you did? Did you do a-" "marriage proposal?"
I was so shocked but I was happy so I shouted "YES!!" I ran towards him and jumped on him and kissed him hard. I heard a lot of people woop and I could see Chiron, out of the corner of my eyes, smile with pride. I got off of Percy and hugged him tightly. "I love you... So much."
"I love you too."
