Percy's POV

After putting couple miles between them and the camp that were now after them. Artemis felt angry and betrayed at both her own Hunters and Athena, her sister. Annabeth felt like curling into a ball and cry herself to sleep. The mother that she looked up to and wanted a connection to just disowned her all because she chose to be with him.

He should've known this day would come when he would be revealed as a werewolf. But now Annabeth revealed herself as a werewolf as well. No doubt Athena will be revealing that to the Council that he and her are werewolves and that Artemis is a traitor for aiding werewolves that belonged to Lycaon.

After putting many distances, Artemis stopped then looked at me and Annabeth and said "Take my hand, we'll get to Camp Jupiter quicker then warn the rest of the Seven." He held Annabeth's hand tightly then took Artemis' then everything changed in an instant.

Percy POV

After arriving outside the tunnel, we stopped and realized both me and Annabeth were fully naked. After Artemis flashed them both clothes, and trying to control a near purple blush, things calmed down. I truly hope the Gods didn't get through to the Romans. We walked through the tunnel after Artemis gave the two guards a mouthful. I wouldn't blame her after the betrayal she had to deal with. We come out of the tunnel to look upon the beautiful and peaceful New Rome. We walked down and across the River Tiber. I looked to my right to look at Annabeth. She was simply in a trance, and her eyes were red. All I could feel was guilt. Guilt for biting her and making her choose between me and her own mother who always hated me. I feel like we need to talk when we settle down. I looked to my left to see Artemis changing her form. If I remember correctly, her Roman form is Diane.

Annabeth POV

Heartache... All I can feel is heartache. I couldn't feel anything other than numbness as I simply walked through. I could feel Percy's eyes on me. I know he felt guilt because of how my... I can't even call her my mother anymore. She always hated Percy all because he was a Son of Poseidon and my fiance. We do have to talk some stuff out later. Artemis turned into Diane, her Roman form. I looked up to see Reyna coming down from her Praetor house and smiled until she saw my look. I looked away so she wouldn't see me more.

Third Per. POV

Reyna was originally happy to see Annabeth and Percy until she looked at them to see their faces filled with tiredness and guilt. Percy looked at Reyna and said "Thank gods you weren't visited." Reyna looked confused and asked "What happened? What do you mean by visited?" Reyna then looked to see Diane then widened her eyes and bowed "Lady Diane! Forgive me for not addressing you." Diane simply sighed and spoke "It is alright, Praetor Reyna. We should move this along inside." Reynard nodded and they all followed her inside to the Praetor house. Annabeth and Percy sat down on a couch while Diane simply kept standing up. Reyna sat down on a chair and asked "So please, tell me what's going on." Percy looked at Annabeth then at Reynard and spoke "We've been betrayed. Athena found out about me being a werewolf and... She turned the camp and Arte-Diane's Hunters against us." Diane had a flash of anger before calming herself. "My own sister..." She muttered and Annabeth had a hitch of breath and tears dripped from her eyes and said weakly "She... Disowned me. I showed her my werewolf from... She disowned me right then and there." She started crying and Percy hugged her tightly. Reyna looked at them. Sadly before a voice called out "Hello? Percy, are you there?" Percy looked up to see Jason, Piper and Leo with scared faces "Jason! Piper! Leo!" Percy looked at them worried "What happened? What's going on!?" Jason spoke "Camp is in an uproar! People are divided on the news about your... Condition. People are calling for your blood, others just want to find you and understand what happened. You're at Camp Jupiter?" Percy nodded and held Annabeth by her shoulder "Yeah. We're here. You guys hang on. Keep us updated about what's going on. Lay low. We'll call you so we can talk. We need to get the Seven back together." Leo had a smirk "I'll start working on a way for us to travel to Camp Jupiter. We're getting the gang back!" The Iris-Message closed out and Reyna smiled "The Romans will be with you, Percy. Our home is yours." Diane smiled and looked at Percy and Annabeth with sympathy. "I have to get the Hunters. At least the ones that are still loyal to me. Explain the situation to them. Percy nodded and stood up with Annabeth and followed Reyna to their new home.
