Ellieanna's POV

(6 AM)

Today is the day! We are moving in with the Thunderman's.

I get breakfast ready. We are having oatmeal. I wake Jessa up and we eat. We get ready for school. Mrs. Michelle takes us to school for hopefully the last time.

I go to my locker.

" Hey Pheebs. Hey Cherry!" I say.

" Hey Ellie!" They say.

" I'm so excited for you to move in!" Phoebe says.

" Me too. I hope I don't have to work this afternoon!" I say.

" Where do you work?" Phoebe asks.

" Splatburger." I say.

" Eww!" They say.

" Why? I get money." I say.

" No. The owner, Mrs. Wong, is horrible! She is so mean and evil!" Phoebe says.

" Well, as long as I have money for Jessa and I to live off of, I would be a trash person!" I say.

The bell rings. We go to English. I notice Max sat behind Phoebe.

" Max? You're in this class?" I ask.

" I'm in almost all of your classes. I just skipped yesterday." Max says.

I turn around so I can focus on the lesson.

Soon it is lunch. We go to the cafeteria. Phoebe, Cherry, and I sit at our table. Max and some girl sit down.

" Hey Allison! You should meet Ellieanna. She's a new student." Phoebe says.

" Hi." Allison says.

" Allison is Max's girlfriend. She sees something in him that no one else see's." Cherry says.

" Oh. Right. Max's girlfriend." I say.

" You okay Ellie?" Phoebe asks.

" Yeah. Um I actually forgot something that I need for Art class. I better go get it before class." I say getting up.

Max followed me.

" Ellie? You okay?" He asks spooking me.

" Don't do that!" I say punching Max in the arm.

" Sorry." Max says chuckling.

" I just needed my art stuff. We have art next block." I say.

" Are you sure? It seems like you are jealous of Allison." Max says.

" I hardly even know you Max. I don't like you." I say.

" Ok. Ouch." Max says holding his heart.

I grab my stuff. A letter falls out of my locker. Max picks it up.

" What is this?" Max asks beginning to read it.

I stand there shaking.

" Why is this a goodbye letter to Jessa?" Max asks.

I sit down on the steps.

" I'm sick Max." I say.

" Do I need to take you home?" Max asks concerned.

" No. I mean I'm SICK. I have cancer." I say.

" But it can be cured right?" Max says.

" I don't know. Even if it can, I can't afford treatments." I say.
