The next few days were strange. Anytime I did anything someone came out of the shadows to do it for me. I couldn't pick up my book without having someone do it for me. I knew Ra's had something to do with this.

I found him by the fountain talking with Sarab. "My love, may I speak with you for a moment." I say in the sweetest voice possible.

"Of course just give me a moment." He turns back to look at Sarab.

"No. You will speak with me now or not at all." I say with a sweet smile.

He looks at Sarab for a moment before sighing and turning his attention to me. "Yes my dear. What is it you wish to speak of?"

"Why do you have the entire league shadowing my every move?" He looks at me surprised. Yea well you shouldn't. I am a member of the League after all. "Did you honestly think I wouldn't notice someone shadowing me the entire day? Did you forget who I am dear husband?" I arch my eyebrow at him.

"I can't be with you all days so I made sure someone was with you at all times." He says as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

I walk up to him with a sway in my hips and put my hands around his neck. "My dear husband. I don't like being treated as if I'm made of glass because I'm not. Call off my shadows or I'll have you sleep and dine with the dogs until the day I give birth. Am I understood?" He stares at me in amazement but a tinge of fear is in his eyes. Good be afraid.

He nods after a moment of silence. "If it make you feel better you can have them shadow me once I'm eight months pregnant." I kiss his cheek before leaving the room with a triumphant smile on my face.

I head to the kitchens and decide to make a chocolate cake covered in mint frosting. I gather the cake ingredients and start mixing them in a bowl. I put it in a pan and in the oven. While that baked I started making the frosting.

Nyssa walked in as I pulled the cake out. She walked over and dipped her finger in the mint frosting. "Mmm"

"Nyssa. I don't like when people dip their fingers in food, especially if it's not done yet." She steps and mumbles a 'sorry' as I pass by her. I let cake rest before frosting it.

"So. Do you know who Sarab brought back?" She looks everywhere but me. "Nyssa. Who did he bring back?" "I can't tell you. Father forbade it." I narrow my eyes at that.

"Frost the cake when the timer goes off. You can take a slice if you want after you're done." and with that I leave to go find Ra's.

I find Sarab heading towards the dungeons and make my decision then and there. "Sarab." He stops and turns to me. "Where are you headed?"

"I'm going to the dungeons." "Mind if I join you? No? Great let's go." I start walking to the dungeons with Sarab hot on my heels. I walk past a few cells before taking a right and going through another door. I go through the door and end up looking at Malcolm Merlyn. "This is who you brought back? Why didn't Ra's inform me of our new prisoner?"

"He did not wish to bother you with such trivial information." He keeps a neutral face the whole time.

"I can decide for myself what information is or isn't trivial. Where is he now?"

"He is in his study."

"Sarab. I would like you to remain by my side as I speak with my husband." I say with a deadly look in my eyes.

"Of course. May I ask why?" We start leaving the dungeons and head to the study. "Because if not for you, I may just kill my husband." A small smile plays on his lips before returning to his neutral look.

I slam the door open gaining his attention. "Why didn't you tell me that we had a new prisoner? And that that priSONER IS MALCOLM MERLYN?!!" I yell at him.

"Sarab. Leave us." much to his distaste Sarab stays in his spot. "Sarab." he says in a threatening voice and even that does nothing to make Sarab move.

Ra's turns his eyes to me, I have a smirk on my face, and narrows his eyes. "You haven't answered me dear husband."

"I didn't tell you because of what you vowed to do." He stands from behind the desk and slowly walks over to me. "You will not harm him. He will be put on trial for his crimes."

"His CRIMES?!! AND WHAT CRIMES ARE THOSE?! VIOLATING THE CODE?!!!" I start pacing in front of him. "If you won't let me kill him at least let me interrogate him. Sarab will be there to make sure Merlyn is still breathing when I'm done."

"As long as he's still alive after you've gotten your answers." I nod my head and signal Sarab that we were leaving. I tell him he is to return to his duties, after having a slice of my mint covered chocolate cake. I return to our shared bedroom and get ready for bed. In my mind I plan my interrogation with Merlyn.
