Hoseok's P.O.V

It was 3:20 in the morning. I was up all night paying bills and creating a budget.

I have been struggling lately with raising a child and depression. I had a son, MoonSik, he's 5 years old. His mother passed away after giving birth. I have been really depressed since that incident. MoonSik tries to cheer me up but, I feel like it's impossible to be happy again. I love his mother so much. We had a relationship of 3 years, then we found out we were going to be having a child. I was planning to propose after we got home from the hospital.

"Papa? Why are you up so early?" MoonSik asked, looking up at me with sad and tired eyes.

"I'm trying to play the bills."

"Can we have breakfast?" MoonSik climbed into my lap.

"But, buddy it's 3:34, it's to early to eat breakfast. Anyways you need to get some more sleep you have school in four and a half hours,"

"I won't go to sleep..." I cut him off from finishing his sentence.

"No you need to get some sleep. If you go to sleep right now we can go to ihop!"

"You didn't let me finish papa, I won't go to sleep unless you come and cuddle with me. Now come on I want some ihop!" MoonSik exclaimed pulling my hand leading to his and my bedroom.

MoonSik and I shared a room together. Yes, our apartment was a two bedroom apartment, but the second room was occupied by our 'roommate', Seokjin. Jin is a very big help to me, I was glad it was Jin who was looking for a place to stay.

Jin looks after MoonSik when I'm working late hours, to pay for food and bills. Jin has asked to help MoonSik and Me, but all I need is his half of the rent. Anyways him watching MoonSik makes up for everything.

Lately I've been stressed out with work, MoonSik's health, and food.

"Hey, Hobi do you want me to get MoonSik to sleep while you finish paying the bills?" Seokjin walked out of his room with concern on his face.

"It's okay I'll do it tomorrow" I smiled at Seokjin.

He returned into his room. MoonSik proceeded to pull me to the bedroom.

I picked him up and tossed him to the bed and jump into the pile of sheets and blankets as well. I smiled at the small child. He giggled and snuggled into my side.

Oh how much I loved this child. He was my everything, he's the only reason I work as hard as I do. I love him to death and would kill to make him happy. He frequently asked about his mom but after turning 4 he stopped asking about her.

I visit his mother once a year in Pohang. I don't take MoonSik with me, one because I don't have the money to take both of us to Pohang. And two I moved to Busan, wanting to be closer to my family.

I finally fell asleep next to my beautiful son.
