Y/n POV
We were walking in the middle of the road so no zombies could come out of the alley way and bite us. I see a sign that reads, 'No one is safe trust no one' I gulp. This again made me think of Jack.

'Maybe I should ask some questions? I mean I don't know a whole lot about him' I clear my throat and get his attention.

"What is it?" He asks me with a sorta flat voice.

"Well I want to know more about you!" I say with a cheerful smile. 'He might have killed B/F/N but we are all we got so... might as well get to know him. Right?'

"What do you want to know and I will tell you....maybe....depends on the question." He says with a pause as if he was thinking.

'Ok so what should I ask? Oh I know!' "What did you do before all this?" I say and make a hand motioning to all the wreckage.

"I was a YouTuber.  What about you?" He says with a frown.

"I worked at the hospital with.... my friend." I say in a sad voice. 'I can't even say their name...'

"So you're a nurse?" Jack asks.

"Yes. It sucks to think all that time I spent in college is wasted." I say with a large sigh.

"It's definitely not wasted! We need nurses! Especially now more than ever! I'm so lucky to have found you!" Jack excitedly says trying to cheer me up. I give him a small smile and try to think of more questions.

3rd POV
The conversation goes on and on. You guys talk about any and everything. You learn Jack's favorite color is green, he has 4 siblings, he was born February 7th 1990, he's an Aquarius, he has a degree in Hotel Management, he likes to play the drums and he had 29 million subscribers.

Y/n POV
"We're here." Jack said with a whispery kind of voice. I look up to see a Walmart? I give him the 'are you serious' face and he gives me the 'I am totally serious' face. It made me smile. He smiles and breaks the glass with a baseball bat.

We walk in, looking everywhere to make sure no one was in here with us. "Ok I am going to hunting and gear and you go to the food isle. Ok?" He says and grabs a cart for him and me.

"Ok." I agree quickly, I really have no idea when it comes to guns. He gave me one last glance and we went our separate ways. I get to the food portion of the Walmart and see there is a lot of food still here. 'I wonder why no one tried to take this place?' I grab a bunch of soup and water jugs. I also grab any meat that hasn't gone totally bad. In the end my cart is almost full. 'Ok I'll also need some pads, clothes, sleeping bag, maybe a tent?, some new shoes, and some hair bows. Once I get all my essentials I wheel my full cart over to weapons and gear.

"Hey!" I whisper yell into the air.

"Over here!" Jack says normally. 'I like when he instantly responds.' I walk over to were I heard his voice and see him with tons of gear and weapons.

"Wow! Good job!!" I say to him.

"Thanks I just need to get some clothes before we go!" He says happily. I already picked out mine so I figured I would go change while Jack looked at clothes. 'It would be nice if there was running water around here. I should ask Jack if there are any water falls we can use as showers around here.' I finish changing and head over to the men's section.

As soon as I walk in I see a shirtless Jack. I blush and my eyes widen. 'Wow' He has all kinds of scratches on his abs.

"Hey Jack." He stiffens a bit and attempts to cover the scars. "I already saw... what happened?" I ask worried and walk up to him.

"Zombies." He says as I trace the scars on his chest. They look really deep. I stiffen and stare into his eyes. 'Did I ever ask if he was bitten?'
