I awoke the next night, the moon was slowly making it's way high into the sky. I looked to my right hoping to see Tenshi like I was used to, only to see her spot empty of all life.
Then i remembered that I had left her with Goliath and his clan. I let out a sigh and shut my eyes as I felt pain in my chest. I wished I had not told her to stay but I knew it was for the best, she would be happy and protected with them.
She could even find a mate with one if those young gargoyles. And have her own eggs one day.
I was no longer a leader, I had no clan, I was alone in a new world that I didn't understand. I felt a tear slide down my cheek but quickly wiped it away before it could fall from my face.
I jumped off the building and started flying through the air. From high above the buildings I watched as the humans rushed around like ants on the ground. They truly we're like bugs.
I snarled in disgust at them. Humans really were like ants they needed to be squashed and killed.

It was a peaceful night, but it was lonely. I no longer had someone to talk to. I truly was alone.
It was strange being on my own it a world so different. I didn't understand most things. But what truly freaked me out was the food.
It almost seemed like the humans we're obsessed with putting things on a stick!!
I had managed to steal what the humans call a corn dog.
I thought it was corn on a stick but I was wrong it was some kind of meat covered in this breading.
I was concerned the meat was dog.
