Laina's pov

"BERNARD!" *Sobbing* "Oh my God! What happened to bernard!?!" I asked one of the doctors pushing him in a stretcher. "He is in critical condition ma'am, you can't come in hear while we do surgery." The doctor said. "Wait! You can't keep me out!" I said, but instead he just closed the door in my face. I fell to my knees and just cried my eyes out. I can't believe this just happened! "Ya'know! Acting school really paid off for ya! Those fake tears look pretty real." I heard a voice say, and it was no other then Kade. "Shut up Kade! If that was someone you really cared about, you would be crying yo eyes out!" I said getting up. "I thought you didn't care about him!" He said chuckling. "Anyways you seen queen come through?" He said. "No! I saw the rest of the team come except for queen!" I said. "Wait! What?" He said. He then turned and saw an officer walking with a few others.

"Hey!" He started. "Have you seen a light skinned girl, curly hair, tattoos on her arm? From one of those car crashes on the highway?" He said.
"No, but we did see another girl, she kinda did have the same complexion but blonde curly hair." The officer said. "Wait! Are you sure there was only two girls?" He asked. "Nope! We only found one! Along with  six other men!" He said walking away. "Fuck!" Kade said underneath his breath.
He then took out his phone and searched for a number. He tapped it and it started ringing until someone picked up. I listened to their phone conversation.

*Phone conversation*

Kade- Aye Mondo!

Mondo- Wassup boss

Kade- what happened to queen?

Mondo- what do you mean?

Kade- You know what tell me every thing that happened.

Mondo- The guy that you sent to go get queen, she killed him, I'll send you the pictures later.

Kade- how?

Mondo- He said he was gonna "kill" her and queen killed him, shot him in the head like 8 times, 5 times in the heart, and then stepped in his face with spiked boots.

Kade- and? What about the highway, what happened to her when y'all was on the highway?

Mondo- well she was on top of the car, I think Bernard shot one of the drivers. The driver crashed into the car, and ran off the highway. The car king was driving then flipped over with queen on it. The car flipped on top of queen then she fell off of the bridge, but I think a spiked chain caught her foot.

Kade- Well! Did she fall?

Mondo- No! Leonel took her, blew up the car drey and trina were in and took off.

Kade- did anything happen to queen?

Mondo- Well, from what I heard, leonel punched her in her face knocking her out, she hasn't waken up since.

Kade- Where is she?

Mondo- We don't know, he left with the car, without telling us where he went!

Kade- Fuck! Igh, call me later if something comes up.

Mondo- Igh boss!

*End of phone conversation*

As kade hung up the phone I decided to speak. "Kade! You know queen could have died if it weren't for leonel!" I said. "Shut up Laina!" He said getting pissed. He started typing away on his phone. "Why! It was ALL of your fault for coming up for this fucking plan... Now that this has happened, your own fucking BROTHER can die!" I slightly yelled.
"And! So! I've wanted that for so fucking long." He scoffed. "Give up your fucking feelings for queen! She doesn't love you kade! She loves king! And now that your stupid plan got everybody in the hospital, we don't even know where to look for queen. What the fuck were you thinking!" I semi-yelled.

"LISTEN, I JUST ASKED FOR HIM TO GO GET QUEEN FOR ME!" He snapped. "WHEN ARE YOU GONNA STOP THE WHOLE FUCKING KIDNAPPING SHIT! EVERY SINGLE THING YOU'VE DONE WAS STUPID. YOU FUCKED UP BIG TIME!" I yelled catching one of the nurses attention walking done the hallway. "I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO KIDNAP HER, I WANTED HIM TO GET HER FOR ME SO WE CAN TALK! I DIDN'T THINK THAT QUEEN WOULD KILL HIM, AND I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WHOLE SHIT WOULD END UP ON THE HIGHWAY WITH THEM GETTING KILLED! IT WASN'T MY PLAN LAINA!" Kade said screaming at me.
"Im-im sorry kade!" I said. I looked down to my shoes.

"Fuck yo apology, right now we gotta find queen, I don't want her to get hurt!" He said walking away from me. He then stopped and looked back at me. "You coming?" He said raising an eyebrow. What the fuck i need to come for? It's not like i want that bitch queen to be alive. This nigga is so attached to her . I absolutely hate how he doesn't get that she doesn't want him. He a whole 'try hard' nigga. But i have to go...if i say no...i don't know what he'll do. I looked at the doors that were shut in my face then looked back at kade. "Y-yea, I'm coming." I said. I walked up to him and we held hands out the hospital. I honestly don't know why I care that Bernard might be dead. But for some reason I feel like he's somewhere in my heart that I really can't find. It was the strangest feeling I had. And i don't want to admit it, but those tears were lowkey real...
