Keep Trying:
(10/28/2015)- Dedicated to those who know the pain of being institutionalized and alone.
Life may seem like a struggle,
Where nothing, it seems, is right.
Just know that you will stumble,
And the end of the tunnel is bright.
Yes, it can be very scary
To be out "on your own".
Your troubles will continuously vary,
But you will never be alone.
Getting help is what you need
To survive in life and make it through.
Use tools and skills to help you succeed,
So that life doesn't sneak up behind you and shout "BOO!".
They tell you to live life to your fullest,
To give it all you got.
And even though this might seem the dullest,
Eventually it will bring you to the right spot.
You just have to keep trying.
Tell yourself "you can do it!".
When it gets hard, you can keep crying,
Or get up, keep on trying, and know you'll make it through it.
