The remnants of the once great Bat Squad from the clone war have returned with new soldiers with the rebellion to fight against the evil galactic empire.
Rune Raspwalker walked around the imperial outpost on Dantooine in his imperial officer uniform. He looks around wearily as he walks into his quarters. He was a former Jedi. After hiding for several months he had come out and joined the empire with a new identity, Jaden Ramcaster.
He locks the door behind him as he walks into his barracks and walks over to the crate at the bottom of his bed. He pulls out his 2 lightsabers and his datapad that was blinking with a green light.
"So....you've finally returned" he smiles as he looks at the datapad.
Buried in the crate was the old armor he wore during the clone war and some supplies with a backpack. He grabs the backpack and starts filling it with everything he'd need. He looks up at the datapad sitting beside his bed on the nightstand. His imperial datapad. It had information about imperial prisons, labor camps, weapons factories, shipyards and more, information that could be useful to a rebellion. He had a feeling that Bat and whoever else was alive would need it. He stuffs it into his backpack and and grabs his lightsabers. He puts his old black Phase 1 special operations clone trooper helmet on and slings the bag over his shoulders. He takes a deep breath and opens the door.
He steps out into the hall and starts running down the hall toward the hangar. He carried his lightsabers in his hand and he passes several Stormtroopers.
"Hey! Stop him!" One yells and they start chasing him.
"Blast it!" He yells as they open fire on him.
He ignites his blue and green blades and starts deflecting incoming fire. He hits a few down and stops and slashes the other 2 that remained down. He resumes running.
"Come on. You can make it" He tells himself as he starts sprinting again.
He runs into a group of officers coming from and conference and he stabs the first 2 and slashes the 4 others down before he keeps going.
A technician was walking from the hangar and he turns toward Rune. He grabs a SE-14C from his holster and aims at Rune as he reaches for the alarm and Rune force pushes him as hard as he can down the hall. He hits the wall so hard that the snapping of his back could be heard and Rune continues into the hangar.
2 pilots were walking toward the door after a recon mission and turn toward Rune as he leaps over them. Their heads land on the ground and their bodies slump down after being beheaded by the Jedi.
"Stop him!" A officer yells and a Stormtrooper sounds the alarm.
"What is it commander?" A Trandoshan inquisitor hisses.
"It's a rogue Jedi sir! Somehow he got into the agh!" The trooper yells as he's impaled by Rune.
"Lock down the hangar and all ships. I'll be right there" the inquisitor says and stomps out of the command center, accompanied by 2 shadow troopers.
Rune was running toward a shuttle as the hangar doors begin closing.
"Dammit!" He yells.
He hears clapping behind him and the sound of footsteps. He turns around and looks at the dark skinned trandoshan inquisitor flanked by the shadow troopers.
"I should've sensed it. You did well hiding your true identity Jaden. I'm impressed." the inquisitor says.
