"You have GOT to be fucking kidding me," Brian yelled to the empty room as he sat up and noticed the empty bed next to him. He was so angry that he wanted to throw something. He stood and grabbed his acoustic and slammed it on the floor a couple of times. He cried out with each strike with the last destructive hit causing tears to start. He sobbed angrily as he fell back into the bed. He allowed himself to feel bad for everything he'd lost. After the tears stopped, he wiped his face and sat up. He wasn't a cry baby. He was a fucking man of action. He was Synyster Gates damnit and he was going to fix this shit.
He started the shower and turned the water on as hot as he could stand. After stepping into the spray, he leaned his head down to feel it hit his back. She was leaving...but when....he needed to find out. And he needed to stop her. He'd made the mistake of letting her go before but this time she wasn't going to get away. He was sure of that...or so he kept telling himself....
A message he repeated as he dressed and combed his hair....over and over as he brushed his teeth...and he mumbled it under his breath as a mantra as he dialed her home number and listened to the ring tone.
"Hello?" one of the roommates voices answered.
"Hey...uh...this is Brian...Synyster," he said quickly.
"Oh hey, it's me Jess," the girl said.
"Hey Jess, hope your doing good...can you tell me...is Kate there?" he asked as confidently as he could.
"Oh I'm sorry Brian...her flight leaves in two hours," she said apologetically "She's already left to LAX."
"No great..that's just what I needed to know...thank you...thank you. Do you know what flight number by any chance?"
She sighed as if unsure but after a few seconds, she relented. "Flight 1975 to Seattle. United."
He looked at the time...he had 45 minutes to get there and see her before she left. Was it enough time?
He hoped like hell it was.

He pulled his Benz to the front of the Terminal and stopped. He jumped out as fast as he could and began to make his way toward the entrance.
"You can't park that here!" the police officer called toward him.
Brian only glanced at him and decided to let the car get towed. Hell he could afford it. It was a small price to pay when your love life was on the line. He looked at the board. Flight 1975 was on time...terminal B. He took off running toward the gate and heard a few people call to him as he ran by.
"Hey Synyster Gates!"
"Oh my God...that's him. Where is he going?"
"Gates can I have your autograph?"
He ignored them all as he made his way to the United counter.
The pretty attendant smiled at him warmly. "How can I help you today?"
"I need a ticket to...anyway that will get me through to terminal B," he explained sure he sounded like a madman.
"A ticket to anywhere for terminal B," she repeated just slightly suspicious.
"Look...my girlfriend...." he lied "she's leaving...and I love her. And I've got to stop her. I have to."
She lifted her eyebrow unsure of how to proceed.
"I promise...I'm not crazy...I'm in love...please...please...." he begged and pleaded.
She pursed her lips and then nodded. "Okay...just don't go crazy on me once you get across security...I need my job." She looked at her computer and tapped in some data. "Do you care how much it costs?"
