Chapter One: Introducing Me

New faces. New places. New places. It may seem clichè but, I like this. Starting new and fresh.

Me, my dad and my sister always move from places to places ever since my mom died. Well, it was traumatizing and hard for all of us. As far as I can remember, it's been 4 years ever since that happened.

Right now, we currently moved in Toronto, Ontario and I'm going to start my senior year at Jefferson High and my sister will be starting her freshman year. My dad just got a job as a publisher that's why we moved here.

Classes will be starting tomorrow. I'm somewhat scared and happy at the same time. I'm happy 'cause I'll be able to see new faces once again. And scared because I know, deep inside me, I'll be all alone again. But somehow, I'm wishing and hoping that someone might be able to see me and be friends with me.

Now, I'm in my room, fixing my clothes and books that has been scattered on the bedroom floor. I plugged in my speakers and my iPhone and played some songs. The song that blasted through the speakers were Demons by Imagine Dragons. I so totally love this song.

And while I was fixing my clothes, I grabbed my favorite book. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. It was a gift from my mom during my 16th birthday. So, yeah, that's one of the reasons why I love this book and it's so important to me. While I remember those memories, I found myself crying while reading. Again.

In my old school, I was a straight-A student and that's why people don't notice me and that's why people find me weird and part of the 'Not-In-The-Zone' Group of people. So, that's why I'm always occupied by my books and music.

So, tomorrow, will be the start of of Misery-Slash-Mystery day. I'm just hoping for the best to come, if not, it's still fine with me. I'm used to be being alone.
