Subject: A Work In Progress
Wow, a work in progress. I love it, A. Can I quote you on that? I bet it could be published in one of those 'motivational quotes' books. I've got to say it definitely lifted my spirits considering my crappy day. And guess what? It totally ties in with my theory! "Life will take up on a journey and lead us to our destination, whatever it is meant to be." Honestly, A, you made my day. Maybe this assignment had a bit of serendipity too?

ps. which movie?
I stare at the email, shining ever so bright on my phone in my otherwise dark and dreadful room. Even though it's a bit more deep than the rest of our emails are, it's still simple, short and sweet, and I love it. But, somehow in the twisted situation that I had created, it quite literally saved my life. And I have to admit, his words definitely made me smile a little. Maybe more than a little. When I type back, I contemplate whether or not I should tell him this, and if so, how? I definitely don't want Star thinking his pen pal is some crazy suicidal guy.

Subject: Lifesaver!
Haha, I'm far from motivational, but glad you think so! If you don't mind me asking, why the crappy day? :/ I'm not that great at advice either, but food and cheesy movies usually help a bit for most people, although I think personally, it would be food, cheesy movies, and long rambling conversations with someone. In case one of these items is inaccessible at the time being, here's a question to get your mind off of things: when was the last time you screamed at the top of your lungs?
On another note, would it be totally weird if I said you made my day as well? I'd say there's a highly likely chance of serendipity in this case. According to my very scientific calculations, I'd say about 87%. Maybe even 90.
- A
ps. hmm, quite a cliché, I have to say, but my all-time favorite movie would definitely be Harry Potter
pps. if you were a candy, you would be a lifesaver
A lifesaver? Is that too cheesy? But I've already hit the sent button before I can rethink my decision. When I climb into bed, I feel significantly less sad that Clara hadn't messaged me yet, and significantly more happy that the professor chose this assignment. And even though we haven't met the required number of emails yet, I decide to keep these few to myself instead of turning them in.
~~~
Hey you guys! First off, as usual, thanks so much for reading (and maybe voting and commenting?)
Please, please, please share if you liked this book! I've honestly found that the larger and more interactive my audience, the more I'm motivated to write.
Stay tuned for the next chapter!
XOXO
