As he entered his apartment he headed straight to his bedroom to get clothes. As he headed to the bathroom something flew past him in the shadows. Whatever it was it had knocked over an empty glass cup, but Jake didn't notice. He just kept walking to the bathroom.

Then as he entered the bathroom he closed the door behind him and jumped into the shower. As the steam of the warm shower water filled the bathroom the door slowly opened and slowly but quickly closed behind the shadowy figure. Jake didn't hear the thing enter the bathroom for the sound of the shower was too loud to hear the creaking door.

As he stepped out of the shower he wrapped a grey lime green towel around his waist and walked over  to the mirror. He then wiped the fog mist off the mirror to see himself. He jumped when he thought he saw something looking back at him, but nothing.

"I need some sleep," he sighed and began to leave the bathroom when something now stood in the bath tub watching him. Jake didn't notice and kept walking until he heard a girly giggle behind him.

Jake stopped and slowly looked over his shoulder to see a woman standing in the doorway right behind. Jake tumbled back as he saw her. He had no idea how she had gotten in his apartment.

"Where are you going?" she asked.

Jake just stood there confused until he finally spoke, "How did you get in here?" he asked confused. haha He remembered locking the door when he came home. Did he really lock the front door? He actually wasn't sure.

"The window," she smiled as her brown long hair covered her eyes.

" The windows don't open, " he fekt creeped out, "they are sealed shut."

She giggled as if he had said something funny, "No, silly," she waved her hand as if pushing aside those thoughts, "not those windows."

" Then what window? " he asked puzzled.

"That one," she pointed to the mirror in the bathroom.

Jake felt uneasy with this woman. He had her sit down as he walked over to the phone ready to call the cops. However, right as he picked up the phone thats when she reached over and grabbed him. He felt something warm at his side. When he looked down that's when he saw blood. She had stabbed him with a piece of glass.

"Bad boy," she giggled as she pulled away slowly ripping the piece of glass out of his side.

Blood began to pour from his wound. He watched as she slowly watched back into the bathroom. Crunch, crunch, the sound was coming drom underneath her feet. She was stepping on glass. The bathroom mirror had shattered at some point and now covered the floor in the bathroom and in the doorway. As she kept walking backwards her feet left bloody footprints.

"What the," Jake was cut of by the sudden attack that the girl had done. She had bolted at him once she had reached the bath tub. She had ran and jumped and tackled him to the ground stabbing him repeatedly in the chest.

Over a week had passed and Jake's friend, Chase, when to go check on him. Knock, knock, knock. No answer. He let out a sigh and then left. Another week passed and he soon returned and tried again. Knock, knock, knock. No answer. He finally gave up and walked in.

"Jake," Chase called into the room, "you home?"

      No answer.

He decided to check Jake's room to make sure he was okay. When he stepped on something, crunch. He paused and then looked down. He had stepped on broken glass.

"Heeelloo," sang the woman in Jake's bathroom .

Chase slowly looked into the bathroom and a chain shot out of the bath tub and wrapped Chase's ankle and dragged him into the bathroom where the door slammed shut, and the front door shut itself locking to make sure no one left.

Soon the landlord had to go up to Jake's room because he had gotten complaints about someone running around in there. The landlord went to go check, but when he went to knock on the door he watched it open slowly all by itself. The landlord thought it was odd until he saw what was inside. He saw guts hanging from the ceiling, hearts laying on the floor still beating, lungs cut up and hanging from the curtains, and eyes hanging off a mirror sitting in the living room.

The landlord turned and ran once he watched a woman crawl out of the mirror and began to walk towards him. She was covered he to toe in blood as of she had been bathing in it.

The landlord called the police and they soon came to investigate what was going on; however, when they saw the room every thing was normal and nothing was wrong, but a note sat on the floor saying:

    Dear landlord,
I am leaving for somewhere better to live. If anyone coming looking for me tell them I moved to Virginia.
Thank you,
    Jake Miller.
Jake was found a month later hanged in his old room after a small family of a mother and two daughters had moved in.
