"Detective," called the young woman as she walked up the flight of stairs.

At the top of those stairs was a man with messy looking dark brown hair, rough looking shirt and pants, and a not so well kept stubble like beard. He was no other than Detective Harrison William Brown. He was the best in his field; however, he wasn't the most well kept. He had an attitude that always seemed bored, and a look that made him look as if he had just awaken up from a nap. However, Detective Harrison was a kind hearted and adventurous man. He had an open mind and thought just like those he was hunting. He had never failed a case. He would always find whomever did the crime.

"Detective," said the woman as she was now standing next to him.

Harrison seemed lost in his thoughts as he usually did, but once the woman placed her hand onto his shoulder he came back to reality. "Huh," said Harrison as he looked over to her, "What is it?"

"The chef needs to talk to you. Something bad has happened." said the woman.

Harrison sighed and headed down the stairs. As he was going through the door, he waved up to the young woman. "Thank you, Judith!" he called.

"You're welcome," smiled Judith as she then headed up the stairs towards the officers upstairs.

Once Harrison entered the chef's office, he saw the chef on the phone talking about something. Whatever it was about seemed to have upset the chef quite badly. Harrison sat down and waited. However, as the chef was on the phone he grabbed a piece of paper and began to write. Once he was done he held it up showing Harrison what it read.

Harrison, I need you to go to this address: 524 W Historic Mitchell St. A woman was found murdered there. Sorry, to hear about what happened to your wife, but I really need you to do this. You're the best and I don't want this getting messed up. I think this'll distract you for a little while. (If you're feeling up to it. It's alright if you choice not too.) Anyway, if you're not, please tell the two morons sitting at their desks to do this case, or to just get off their asses. They're making us look bad.

Harrison couldn't help but grin. He took the paper and gave the chef a thumbs up singling him that he was taking the case. He turned and walked out of the office, but as he did, he heard the words, "I know it isn't right to send him out so soon after what happened, but you want this done right, right? So, I'm sending him. I'm sending Harrison."

As Harrison closed the door behind him, he looked over to the two morons that the chef was talking about. Detective Hail and Robertson. Those two would always sit on their butts talking about women and trying to toss food into one another's mouth. Harrison turned and kicked the legs out of Detective Hail's chair causing him to fall and hit the ground.

Hail quickly jumped to his feet and was about to give Harrison a piece of his mind, Robertson tossed his bag of popcorn at him as if telling him to keep his mouth shut.

"You two are going to get off your asses and help me with a case, but first," Harrison looked at the popcorn that was now laying on the wooden floor boards, "clean this up."

"Yes, sir," answered Robertson as he jumped to his feet and bolted to go find the broom.

"What's the case?" asked Hail as he brushed his jeans off.

Harrison write down the address and walked over to the young lad, Troy, the youngest man in the force and kind hearted man who was usually tricked into most of the paperwork. "When you're done cleaning up your mess, you and Robertson will get Troy here and join me at the location that is on this piece of paper. For safe keeping I'll have Troy hold onto it. If I find out that you bullied him in anyway I'll get you dropped to traffic, got it." ordered Harrison with a cold tone towards Hail.
