~KAELYNS POV~

When we all got back to the T Tower, I was still a little shaken, but the worst was over. I sat down on the massive sofa and watched BB and Robin play vidoe games. They had asked me a bunch of times if I wanted to play, but I said no. I was in my own little world, thinking life back in boarding school. What were my friends doing at the moment? Did they miss me as much as I miss them? I didnt want to leave school... Dad pulled me out right before finales last year. He tought me moves I've never dreamed about. At first I thought he was just being a dad. Then, he started giving me assignments. First it was little things. Beat up this guy, take this, ect. Then, one day, he asked me take over a million dollars from this big bank. I had put my foot down. I wasnt going to do it.
So he punished me. He used fire bending to try to kill me. Mom didnt have a clue. She still knows nothing of it. And now, there's a huge burn mark on my back. Forever there... A scar. A reminder of what my father is capable of. He didnt force me to rob the bank. No. He wants me to do something much, much worse. He sent me here to find my brother. To bring him home. So Dad can kill him. I fought. I told him no way would I do that to my brother. I thought he would kill me. I hoped he would kill me so I wouldnt have to hurt Robin. Instead, he called his 'boss'.
I dont know who this 'boss' guy is, but he made Dad shake with fear. He tricked me. He made me sign the unbreakable contract. I had to bring Robin home in two weeks, or I die. A loud, painful death. These thoughts swarmed me, as I watched Robin distroy BB in the game. I smiled as BB threw the controler, and muttered something about bed, and a big day tomorrow.
I giggled.
"Oh, shut up..." he said. He ruffled my hair as he pasted. Robin sat down next to me.
"So, lil sis..." he teased. I rolled my eyes.
"You know, I'll be fourteen in three weeks, right? I'm not that much of a 'lil sis'." I told him.
"Thats right! Wow, I forgot..." Robin muttered.
I laughed. "Of course you forgot! It's been years!" I said in between giggles. Still, he looked guilty.
"Hey", I said, as I lightly punched his shoulder, "really, it's no biggie! Besides, I forgot your birthday too." I said.
He smiled. "You really didnt, did you?" It was more a statement.
I grinned. "Nope, I remember!" I laughed. I yawned hugely.
"C'mon, it's time for bed." Robin told me. I looked around the big room. Sure enough, everyone else had already gone to bed.
I nodded in agreement.
"You can sleep in the guest bedroom for now..." Robin muttered. I froze.
"For now?" I asked.
"Of course. Your staying for a while I thought?" he questioned.
I hesitated for a second. "Well... Dad wants me home soon... And... I was thinking... that... maybe you could just come back home for a little bit...?" I asked, hopeing against hope, he wouldn't ask what was wrong.
I was lucky.
"Kaelyn... You know I cant." he said. "Your dad hates me. You know that."
"Right..." I trailed off, and followed Robin down the hall.
"My rooms next door if you need anything," he told me.
He started to walk out the door when he stopped. "Oh, I almost forgot... We're going to the mall tomorrow to get you some clothes." he said like it was no big deal. I froze. "What? Why?" I asked.
"Well you cant just wear those all the time, can you? And we all noticed that you dont have any luggage." he told me.
I knew this was one fight I couldnt win. I never could talk my brother out of doing things.
I sighed. "Fine, whatever," I said, and plopped into bed. "Night, bro."
He chuckled. "Night, sis."
