Jacob's POV

I felt something shiver in my arms. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Amber, she was feeling cold. I pulled her closer to me. Her back was now pressed against my chest. I smiled at this sight.

I really do love her. Even though my wolf may not like it, I don't care because I love her.

I felt her breathing change. I know that it may sound creepy, but when you have wolf scenes its not.

I knew she was awake.
"I know you're awake." I whispered into her ear.

I saw her smile.
"How'd you know?" She asked sleepily.

I smiled back at her. "Your breathing was different."

Her eyebrows frowned. "I don't know if that's romantic or creepy." She said with a chuckle and I blushed.

"So what are we doing today?" I already knew the answer the this question.

"We got a break yesterday remember? Today is work day." She tried to say with a stern face. But it didn't work because her eyes were half closed.
Yup, she was still really tired.

"Okay, okay but 10 more minutes, for your sake." I joke and she rolled her half opened eyes.

"Fine." She said and within 10 seconds, I heard her snoring.

Amber's POV

Okay, so my '10 minutes' turned out to be 3 hours.

I woke up feeling nauseous. I think I'm stressing myself out too much, or at least that's what Jacob's been barking in my ear. I puked twice this morning.

When I woke up Jacob was long gone.

I really have been under a lot of stress. With one of my pack members gone, everyone is on edge. Everyone keeps wondering, who's next?

I myself is wondering the same thing, but I won't let it happen again. We will be ready next time. In fact, there won't be a next time because we're going to attack.

I made that decision last night. I mind linked my parents and and Sara last night and told them. I didn't tell Jacob because I didn't want him to try and talk me out off it.

So my day started off crappy and then on top off all this the pack is having a feast today.

Usually I would think that it's crappy timing, but not this time.

When we are preparing for war, we have a feast 5 days in a row. The feast is for us to enjoy and celebrate our lime with each other.

For some of us, it's the last couple of days we get to spend with our pack, family and mates.

Every pack does something different before war. Our tradition is to have feasts 5 days in a row.

Now let me run you through our tradition.

Day 1 - The whole pack gathers and has a barbecue. We spend whole day outdoors barbecuing, fishing and doing more fun activities.  We have a huge buffet with lots of the pack's favorite foods like : Biscuits, Corn Bread, Baked Potatoes etc. When night falls, everyone sits in a circle around a camp fire and we tell stories. The stories we tell are usually old werewolf folk law. We also tell stories about our fallen pack members and the braveness as they died in battle.

Day 2 - The whole pack goes camping. We have a secret camping spot just 3 miles from our pack territory. We set up our tents and gather wood to start a camp fire. It's kinda similar to day 1 but there are some differences.  We have to hunt and fish for food and whatever herbs and greens we find, we have to bath in the lake that's about a 20 minute walk from the camp sight and last but not least we have no cellphone service. In the night we gather in a circle once again and tell stories. These stories are different. We tell scary store and more folk law.
