Now, we all know that our main character, James, is completely useless. He is not a single bit special, at all. You may think that he could have special abilities but you are one-hundred percent wrong. Now, let's get back to the plot, or whatever.
"James, you are absolutely remarkable. Everything about you is one-hundred percent special." Eric's father said.
"How am I special?" James asked.
"We don't know yet," Eric answered.
See, I told you he wasn't special.
"Well, you are unique because when I hit you on the head and tore down the barrier on your memories, you should have died." Eric's father explained.
"Yeah, only a handful of people have lived after that." Eric chipped in.
"Okay, change of subject." Eric's father blurted. "I'm Doctor Reed, I would've introduced myself sooner but our stupid author here doesn't do well with name making."
You know, Doctor Reed is right. I don't do very well in the name making business.
James shook Doctor Reeds hand and smiled. He felt a little weird in doing so because he isn't special and shouldn't have survived that blunt force trauma to the head. It seems as though they're putting James through a series of tests, and if he doesn't pass, he will die. Oh, my is this story getting juicy.
"Now what did you mean by training?" James asked.
"Well, we are going to train you to fight Hiran." Doctor Reed replied.
"What?!" James exclaimed.
"They're an anomaly, we have no idea what they are or how they work. All we know is that people like you can kill them." Doctor Reed explained.
The Doctor grabbed James by the arm and yanked him off his bed. They went back to the storage facility and through a secret door in the back of it. That door was an elevator, of course. They went into it and hit the button that had -10 written on it. They waited about a minute or two before the doors opened. The room ahead was a large looking science facility with test tubes and chryo-chambers and what-not. Scientists were storming through each walkway like they were in a race. Doctor Reed started walking toward a blue door that was just to the right of the "immortality facility". Now, this blue door was more of a pale blue, it wasn't a sky blue or a dark blue. It was just a dull, non-important door.
"Now, James. This door is probably the most important door in the entire facility." Doctor Reed stated.
"Why's that?" James asked.
"Well, behind this door, is our training facility." Doctor Reed explained.
Doctor Reed opened the door and a large gust of air flung James' "emo-fag" hair behind his face. When James finally looked at the room it was like a giant grown-up playground. There were monkey bars and rock walls everywhere, all of which were a lot larger than average.
"I know it doesn't look like a training facility, but I assure you that this whole room is filled with state of the art equipment." Doctor Reed said.
Eric finally showed up in some sort of spandex type, power ranger suit, thingy. It was more of a diving suit but less waterproof.
"Looks like I'll be your trainer for a bit." Said Eric.
He threw a "training suit" at James. It was lighter and softer than it had looked and it was extremely stretchy. Eric then showed James to the locker room and he put his suit on. The suit was the perfect mix of cold and hot and it was programmed to keep the body temperature stable.
