8: Through The Dark

Chapter 8

Apparently, Harry and Liam are still missing after a week. Luke's been focusing on his lab works more now, and Zayn & Niall still go out everyday to look for their missing friends. Once, I caught Niall sobbing and I wanted to comfort him, but I figured maybe he wants to be alone.

Maybe next time...

It's past midnight already but I can't get myself to fall asleep. Ah, whatever. I stood up from my camping bag and creep outside. I think that I just need some fresh air... though the air in this place isn't that fresh since the smell of dead is in the air.

"We will find a way through the dark," I hear someone's voice, singing. I look at where it came from--behind the car. I walk over and smile when I see Niall.

"Hey, I heard you singing."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I wake you up?" he said, looking worried.

"No, you didn't! I actually couldn't sleep that's why I went out. Then I heard you singing."

"I miss singing." he says, looking down at his shoes.

"Can you sing it again?" I ask, settling next to him on the car's hood.

 "Sure," he shrugged.

"You tell me that you're sad and lost your way

But I know you're only hiding
