(Pollian POV)
Pollian woke up on something soft and warm. She cracked open her eyes and lifted her head to take in her surroundings. She was in a room on a decent sized bed. Several pads were on her side were her burns were, likely kept there with magic because her sail made it very hard for them to bandage her up any other way.

“Pollian my dear, you're up,” she heard her father, Polroy, say from the doorway.

“I'm almost afraid to ask, but what happened when you and Clyo and… Drake moved me?” Pollian’s own memory of that time was hazy.

“Nothing much” a twinkle of mischief entered his eyes, “you just noted how romantic it was that Drake was taking you away before calling him ‘handsome' and cuddling into his shoulder.”

“I...what?!” Pollian croaked; curling up into a tight ball, wanting more than anything to disappear.

“If I remember correctly, Drake seemed to go a shade darker than he already was at that comment,” Polroy noted and analyzed his daughter's reaction; she just groaned and curled up tighter. “So, would you mind telling your old Dad about what happened to end you up here?” Pollian untucked her head and faced her dad.

“Well, I was taking a nap after helping to escort a dire to the graveyard with (Sacaran name-Male). Then, Drake's younger brother found me and took me here. They made me fight in their arena, as you probably already know from Clyo, Delga, and that rega.”

“Yes, Isaci did have to explain some things for Delga,” Polroy interrupted.

“Anyway, I think it was yesterday, I don’t know how long I was out, I faced off against a murderer known as Ulwa and I used my poison on her. She hit me a few times with her magic and after that it starts to get hazy. I vaguely remember you coming and being put onto,” Pollian clears her throat a little, “Drake’s back and putting me onto the bed.”

“Ah...yes the prince. Tell me my daughter, what do you think of him?” Polroy asked.

“W...well, I definitely think that he would be a valuable ally to have and wouldn't be against setting up some sort of agreement between his people and our own, through him of course. I don't particularly like his younger brother and I think that his father shares more in common with the younger as opposed to the elder.”

“What sort of agreement would you suppose we made with the elder prince? A marriage proposal perhaps?” Polroy barely suppressed a grin at the sight of his daughter’s shocked face.

“Father you don't even know him though, I thought that  you didn't want me to marry anyone unless you knew them to be kind in nature and fair in heart,” Pollian said.

“Clyo has already told me much about him and from what I’ve seen thus far in how he has treated us, especially you, he seems to fit that description,” Polroy stood up and started to walk out, “Oh...and Pollian, don't think I didn't notice that you didn't reject the idea outright.” Pollian sunk onto the bed and curled into a ball, hearing her father close the door softly behind him after he left. Despite her even breathing and still body her mind raged against itself. Would she be opposed to a life with Drake? After all, he had always been kind to her, at least when he understood her. He also didn’t know about her own title, of sorts. He wasn’t to bad on the eyes either; his crimson scales and black wings. Pollian sighed dreamily, not caring currently about her thoughts.

“I think she fell back asleep,” Clyo’s voice was muffled by the door.

“I missed her then?” Pollian’s head shot up at the sound of Drake’s voice.

“Maybe next time Drake,” Clyo said, comforting the dragon prince, “She’ll have to be awake some of the time we travel, unless she’s avoiding talking to you.”

“Hey Clyo?” Pollian tried to shift closer to the door to try and hear what they were saying better.

“Yeah.”

“D...do you think that Ann would want to...visit?” Pollian barely heard the last word.

“Where specifically?” Clyo teased, “Or should I say who specifically?”

“Seriously Clyo.”

“I don’t think that she would be opposed to visiting from time to time. She has her own duties to attend to back at her home.”

“Like what?” It started to get harder to hear their voices and Pollian was sure that they were walking away; however, she didn’t have the strength right now to get up and follow them. She only hoped that Clyo wouldn't tell Drake about her being the chief’s daughter. When she finally fell asleep, her dreams were filled with scenarios of Drake finding out her heritage.
