True Love: A Phan story

Part 16

Phil woke up early the next morning with Dan's asleep on him. He looked around for his phone, spotting it on his bedside table. He stretched carefully, trying not to wake Dan, and grabbed it then returning to his original position. Dan started shuffling a little but stayed asleep. Phil unlocked his phone and went onto his twitter, he accidentally clicked open a video not realising that the video would play out loud and woke up Dan. He looked at me and snuggled his nose into my chest.

"Should we make a video ?" Dan asks.

"What do you mean ?" Phil replies confused.

"About our relationship" he says with a smile on his face. Phil's face drops a little.

"Unless your not ready which is totally fine" Dan says.

"I don't know, it's all still so new,  not sure if I'm ready" Phil said looking at Dan.

"Yeah your right, I shouldn't be so pushy!" Dan said back to Phil, his smile dropped and he just went on his phone.

"Dan, I didn't mean to upset you, I'm just really not ready yet, you know what it's like" he said looking towards Dan. Dans reply was simply a smile and he giggled.

We finally got out of of bed and I helped Phil to the living room and made him breakfast. I heard Darcy coming down the stairs and I pop my head out of the kitchen door.

"Is your mummy awake yet ?" Dan asked her.

"No, I didn't want to wake her up" she replied with a smile on her face.

"That's fine Darcy, me and Phil can watch you whilst she sleeps, what do you want for breakfast? Cereal ?" Dan said.

"Yes please !" Darcy cheerfully said.

"Why don't you go through to the lounge and I'll it in okay ?" Dan asked Darcy. She just smiled as she walked into the living room where Phil was and sat next to him.

"My mummy has a phone like that but hers is pink!" Darcy said pointing towards Phils phone.

"Yeah I know" Phil replied smiling at her.

"Have you got any games like my mummy does ?" Darcy asked looking up at Phil. Phil chuckled opening up candy crush on his phone and handing his phone to her. She sat intently playing the game on Phil's phone. Not long after did Dan bring Darcy a bowl of cereal and sat it in the table.

"Go eat your cereal Dan made and you can play again later!" Phil said signalling towards the phone.

"Okay" she said jumping up from the sofa next to Phil and towards the table where Dan had put her cereal. He went back to the kitchen and grabbed his and Phil's bowl of cereal. He entered the lounge again and handed Phil his bowl, walked towards the table and sat next to Darcy. Only a minute or two had passed before Dan could see Louise coming towards the living room.

"Morning mummy" Darcy said with a mouth full of cereal.

"Morning sweetheart" Louise replied smiling at her.

"Cereals in the kitchen, help yourself!" Dan said to Louise. She left to the kitchen and quickly returned back with a bowl of cereal for herself. She sat down opposite Dan and Darcy and smiled.

"What ?" Dan said to Louise grinning at her.

"Your going to be a great dad one day Dan" Louise said as she took another spoon of her cereal.

"Well if you need a babysitter, we will have her anytime, won't we Phil?" He smiled. Phil simply smiled but then took his crutches hobbled up and out of the room.

"What was that about ?" Lousie asked Dan.

"I don't know, let me go talk to him" Dam said standing up and pushing his chair under.
"Oh by the way, I used Phil's dairy free milk in case she was allergic or something" Dam said walking towards the door. "I didn't want to wake you up to ask that's all."

"Oh its fine Dan" Louise replied.
