Chapter 1

          It has been 1 year since the incident at Raven and since me and Mason have been dating. Mason has been really nice to me, he constantly tells me I am beautiful and helps me grow stronger with my powers. I have become very strong since my fight with my uncle, I can now teleport into buildings and in thin air as well. I can also defeat 25 men in less than one minute. I have qualified as a class 5 agent and I am an official superhero. I have met lots of different heroes while I have been here. One of them is Black Lighting, he joined a little after the Raven incident. He is a cool kid but I just don't want to get him involved with my uncle so I try to avoid him. 

      I was sitting on the coach watching some of my recordings when I feel a pair of arms wrap around my stomach. "Hello Mason." My eyes still glued to the television. "Oh, come on, don't you remember what day it is?" Of course I knew what day it is, it was our one-year anniversary and I was freaking out about it. I wanted to get something really special for him but what. "Today is the day we become a couple and the first time you kissed a girl in your life." He blushed at me mentioning I was his first kiss. "Bing-o, and guess what we are doing today?" He said a smirk curving into his lips. "Uh, let me watch my JoJo's Bizarre World?" I asked trying to convince him to let me watch my shows. He giggled then responded, "Maybe, but first we are going to the fair!" I turned around and quickly hugged him. He returned it, he knew the fair was in town and he remembered how I went there with my mom, so he thought it would be  good for our anniversary that we go there. "Thank You, thank you, Thank you!" I screamed almost making Mason deaf. "Your welcome sweetie." He said then kissed my cheek. I hurry and ran to my room to get my things.

      I got my small bag and placed my phone, jacket, and camera in side. I decided to change into a red flannel with jeans and a pair of brown knee high boots. I walked out to see Mason in a cowboy type outfit. "You ready to go my lady?" He said offering his hand. I decided to play along and replied, "Of course dear sir." We soon where on our way to the fair. When we got there Mason payed for the tickets after he fought me on who should pay. I didn't really care on what we did but I for sure had to go on the Ferris Wheel tonight. We walked around eating some cotton candy and popcorn we got until we passed by a bottle throwing game. I looked at the prize with a burning desire to have it, it was a panda with emerald green eyes eating a piece of bamboo. "You want it?" Mason asked as he looked at the panda. I was so caught up in its beauty I just nodded. "Well then, let's do this." 

       Mason said as we walked up to the both. How the game worked was if you knocked all three stacks of bottles down you won the panda. If you knocked two or one you got a small pink monkey. Mason got three balls after he paid the worker. He didn't hit any of them. I giggled remembering the time this happened to me and my mom. "What you laughing at?" Mason said trying to act tough but was actually a little baby about not winning the prize. "Nothing." I said trying to act clueless. "Oh, then how bout you try, humph." He said bowing like I was a queen. I paid the worker again and I got all three balls. I zeroed in on all of them and threw them all at once. They hit the center on all three knocking them down on the soft net, so they wouldn't break on the floor. I grabbed my Panda and turned around to see Mason with his mouth open like a fish. "Hey, don't worry. You will get it next time promise." I said as I walked towards him and got my pink cotton candy from his hands. I started walking towards the ferris wheel when all of a sudden there is a high pitched ringing in my ears. I fall to my knees and scream in pain. People are staring at me with horror and sadness. Except for one who is smiling as he looks me dead in the eyes and mouthed "sweet dreams, Joana." As I soon blacked out as I had fallen into a endless sleep.
