Kayla Pov
After spending the whole day with my two favorite people. That night was almost coming to a end. After the mall we went to Fun Land.
We got our wrist bands to do anything we want endlessly. We decided to do laser tag first.
"How many teams?" The dude ask that was in charge of the laser tag. "3" I answered him.
I felt Tati arms wrap around my waist. I glanced at her then the dude to see him staring at my girl like some creep.

I didn't want to cause a scene especially in front of Makai. I wrapped my arm around Tati puller her closer and cleared my throat.
Dude neck snapped looking at me. I raised a eyebrow giving him "don't fucking think about it" look. He cleared his throat and got our gear.
I helped put Makai's on first before putting on mine. I was struggling just a little.
I felt and saw hands grab mine moving them out the way to help me. I looked up to see Tati. When she was finished she pecked my lips making me smile while saying a quick 'Thank u'.
We grabbed our guns and walked into the room. We spread out when the countdown started for us to start.
I hid behind a big rock. The lights cut off as our little body gear lit up.
"3...2...1...GO!"
I started to sneak around looking for Makai and Tati. I heard a buzzing sound not to far away and a running Makai.
I pointed my gun shooting in his direction making his gear go off. He groaned frustrated, but kept running to hide.
I chuckled until I felt my gear shake. I held my gun up and looked around but didn't see one of them.
I continued to move around until I spotted Tati. She was aiming at Makai while he was looking around. I held my gun up and shot my laser at her.
"Fuck...Kayla!" I quickly ran away when her eyes landed on me. Makai felt like that was a distraction so he took his chance and shot at Tati as her back was towards him.
There was only 15 seconds left on the timer and the scores were.
Makai - 6
Tati - 4
Me - 4
As I was still looking around I felt a hand grab onto me pulling me in a corner. I was about to go off until I felt those familiar lips on mine.
I pulled her closer deepening the kiss. I felt my gear shake and Tati smile into the kiss. She pulled back smiling as she saw the shock facial expression I was making. Little dare devil.
Tati closed my mouth that was still open from her little trick she did. "3..2..1 GAME OVER" I heard Makai cheering as he heard his name being the winner.
How did I even let that happen? It's was like she took control over my whole body just with her lips.
She grabbed my hand leading us to the exit where Makai was waiting for us taking off his gear.
We did the same and decided to play a few games before going to the go karts. I wrapped my arms around Tati's waist as she shot the basketball into the hoop.
Ideas of asking her to be my girlfriend was running through my head, and how I was gonna tell her that I was in love with her.
Is it too early for me to say it? We have been talking for over 2 months. She already told me I was her first love which made my heart melt.
I think I was ready. No. I know that I was ready. I think I was in love with her when I laid my eyes on her in 9th grade. I just ended up making the wrong decisions.
"What are you thinking about?" Tati asked as she put her hands over mine which was still wrapped around her waist.
"Us" I said kissing the side of her head. "What about us?" She asked smiling.
"I want to take you on a date?" I confessed. She furrowed her eyebrows. "I thought this was a date" she said.
"It kind of is but, I want it to be only us" I said. "Kayla I'm hungry" Makai said as he finished up his little football game.
I looked at the time to see it was 8:25. "Alright let's go and do the go karts first, then we can eat then leave" I said.
We went outside where the go karts took place. We got in our karts Makai and Tati was in the front.
When the light turned green we all took off. I bumped into Tati making her erupt in fits of laughter.
I felt a nudge I looked behind me to see a happy smiling Makai. That made me smile. I was happy that he was happy with all the things we have been through.
With our parents passing and us almost being thrown into a foster care. I don't know what I would have done if I lost my Lil man. That's my world I would do anything to protect him.
I was happy that my aunt took custody of us, that was the happiest day of my life. After we were done with me coming in first place we decided to go and eat.
I was craving hot wings so that's what I got with a side of fries. Tati got the same thing while Makai got him some mini burgers with Fries.
After we finished eating it was close to 10 so I was dropping Tati off.
I pulled into her driveway and glanced in the back to see a sleeping Makai.
"I had fun" Tati said grabbing my hand. "Me too" I said looking over at her. I leaned over connecting our lips.
I swear I love kissing her. She put her hands on my face pulling my closer licking my bottom lip. I accepted her invitation as her tongue slipped in to my mouth.
After a few minutes I pulled away. "Goodnight" she said opening her door and getting out. "Goodnight" I said waiting for her to get in the house before pulling off.
I bit my lip from smiling as I drove home.
