The next morning, I decided to not go to school. I wanted to spend the day with my little brother.
He brightens my day no matter how bad it is. He's the only person that will never leave me. It was around 2 in the afternoon so I told Makai to get dressed.
Once we were ready. We hopped in my truck and I drove off. I decided to take him to Chuck E. Cheese sense that's one of his favorite place.
When we pulled up he started jumping around in his seat squealing and smiling. That sight brought a huge smile onto my face.
He makes me forget all of the bad things....
I got out the car and opened his door for him. He ran inside standing in the little line telling me to hurry.
After getting a seat we went to go buy some tokens. Today was his day and I just wanted him to be happy.
We played almost every game in there. The smile did not drop from my face or no negative that came to mind.
It was close to 6 and I had to go to work. Of course when I told Makai that he was whining, but he understood.
I took him to our aunts house and dropped him off. I drove home and quickly put on my work uniform.
I drove to the mall and walked into FootAction (i don't know if I told you guys her job or how many times I switched it 🤷🏽♀️ but there it is).
A few hours into work Jasmine walked in. When she saw me she smiled and I gave a small smile back.
"Hey" she said cheerfully. "Hey" I said leaning foreword against the counter. "You buying something today?" I asked.
"Yea do y'all have the new Air Jordan 6's all star?" "Yea what size?"
"8" I nodded and walked to the back. The way she kept staring at me was making me uncomfortable, but I didn't say anything about it.
I looked in the back for her size and found them. I walked back to the front. "Here they are do you want to try them on?" I asked.

She sat down on one of the chairs trying on the shoe. She smiled up at me, and I smiled back not trying to be rude.
I looked around and saw Tati walking by the store. When our eyes met my smile dropped and I quickly looked away. I can tell she saw me and Jasmine little interaction.
I shook my head lightly and stood up after Jasmine said she wanted the shoes. I ringed her up and she left out.
That's what I did for the rest of my hours helping people and stuff. But the image of Tati's face never left my mind. She looked...

But one caught my eye saying I should get a cowriter.
I never had a cowriter before, but I just want to try it out.
