I adore your brown little cubby cheeks.
Welcome into the family my dear!
We've expected your arrival this week!
Oh, how I can't wait to cuddle with you.
To bundle you up and sing lullabies.
When my sweet angel cries that is my cue.
To do what I can to dry your brown eyes.
Wearing your pink onesie; a handmade fleece.
Your head enclosed with ruffles on your cap.
Your eyes are shut tight as you sleep in peace.
Im counting your toes and kissing your cheeks.
Sweet dear angel may you rest in dreamland.
As I hymn sweet songs and hold your small hands.
