I sat on the beach,
I watched the moon shine brightly
Then its light left me.
My body was soothed
By the warm moist summer breeze
The South wind now gone.
The draft gust in strong
I think I should run from here
The storm may be quick.
The screen door opens and shuts
Palm trees danced freely
Lighting strikes in a distance.
Standing on the porch
The waves are now rising high
The ocean smells fresh.
Im smelling the food
My Love cooked dinner for me
This food will not last.
