It's Been A While

You'll be excited to see me one day...

I felt my body hit the tarp, and I knew I was lucky because I could breathe. I got up as fast as I could, jumping out of the trash and running. I've gotten skilled at running, I could run long distances not get out of breathe. I ran through crowds of people and stores, yelling sorry and a few of the people I might of pushed. I would have continued running if it wasn't for the crowds of people around a huge stadium. What the hell is going on? I decided to slow down and hide amongst the crowds, Just shuffling along with them. I heard many loud screams, and I looked around for the reason of screaming. That's when I saw it. Vic. Fuentes. Vic had changed a lot since I left, but I knew it was Vic. The girls screaming his name was also a dead giveaway. I started running towards him, pushing people. I screamed his name, over and over until I reached the metal fence that kept him and I apart. I screamed and screamed until he finally looked my way. I'm sure I startled him. I was covered in blood and my hair was messy and choppy and I had ripped clothing.

"L-Lily?" Lily!" Vic shouted, running towards me. He hoisted me by my under arms and pulled me over the gate. He carried me all the way to a large bus, and once we where inside he set me down. He looked at me, and he started crying. He hugged me so tightly that I was choking.

"Lily what the fuck happened to you? You're bleeding and you're covered in dirt! Holy fuck, Lily! Are you okay?" I sat down on the couch next to me a broke down crying. Vic ran around the bus, found a first aid kit and started to clean me up.

"He's been chasing me, Vic. He has been chasing me for eight years." I continued to explain what happened to me as he sat there and held me.

"Oh my god, Lily. I'm so sorry. You're safe now." We sat there for what seemed like forever.

"Could I take a shower here?" I asked, wiping the grit off my face.

"Of course!" Vic proclaimed, jumping up to take me to the bathroom.  He turned the shower on, and told me how to work the handle. "You don't suppose I could borrow some soap, do you?" Vic nodded, and left to go get some. He came back with a bottle of Axe soap. Well fuck.

"This all I have, I'm sorry." He said.

"It's okay, after not bathing for a month I wouldn't mind using the cologne, either." Vic chuckled at me, and left the bathroom, mumbling to himself about how he thought I was dead. I took of the clothing I was wearing, and stepped in the shower. I let the water rinse away all the dirt and pain.

I stepped out of the shower, and wrapped a towel around my chest and under my arms. I looked at myself in the mirror. Gashes, cuts and bruises covered almost every inch of skin. I took a deep breath, and stepped out of the bathroom. "Vic?" I questioned, wondering where he was. I had no clothes to wear. I walked into where we were before, and there stood Vic and three other boys. They're eyes widened, and the one with spiky hair whistled. Vic gave him a dirty look and came up to me.

"I don't have any clothes, Vic." I told him, shivering. Vic lead me to the back of the bus and pulled a suitcase from the floor, handing me a shirt, sweatpants and his boxers. I was amused, but not enough to laugh. Vic's boxers would be better than no underwear.

"I'm sorry, that you know, I don't have a, erm..." Vic trailed off, his face turning red.

"A bra? Underwear for girls? Vic, it's okay. I'd rather not where a bra after having to where a broken one for a whole year." Vic sighed.

"I'll go find one of our crew, she might have something you can wear." Vic said, leaving me quickly. He closed the door and let me change.

+Vic's POV+

I left Lily to change, while I went to find one of our crew.

"Who's your lady friend?" Jaime joked as I walked towards them. I shot him a look.

"Not the time, Jaime. Mike?" I said.

"Sup?" Mike answered, sipping from a bottle of beer.

"It's Lily." I told him, and he spit his beer all over Tony.

"Fuck man! What the hell?" Tony shouted, wiping the beer and spit off himself.

"Lily? As in run-away Lily?" Mike said, jumping to his feet. I nodded. I explained  little bit to Mike, Tony and Jaime about Lily.

"She's been running for so long, that's really tough." Mike said, scratching the back of his neck. I nodded.

"Can you go find Hannah and ask her for some clothes? I gave Lily some of mine, but you know." Mike nodded, and left quickly. Lily walked in the room, wearing my tank top and sweats. They weren't as big on her as I thought they'd be. Lily gave me a hopeful look as she sat next to me.

"Lily, this is Jaime and Tony." They smiled and said hi, and Lily barely said hi. She leaned her head on my shoulder, and within a few minutes she was snoring. I bet she was tired. I let her lay there as I chatted quietly with Jaime and Tony.
