There are many things that make guys attractive. Some girls like guys with pretty eyes or long eyelashes. Others like guys with gorgeous hair or big lips. But the one thing that makes guys irresistible to me would be..
Drum roll, please.
Beanies!
I know what you're thinking. 'Beanies, Melanie? Really?'
Yes, beanies.
It's just something about how the hair sticks out of it just right that gets me. I can't get over how cute it is.
Guys that wear beanies have this weird kind of power over me and I've come to call it Beanie Power. They can just look at me with a beanie on and-
Wait, let me back this up.
Cute guys with beanies. They have to be cute.
Yeah, sorry homeless guy. You can put that beanie you just got out of the garbage back. Thank you.
Anyway...
Beanies on cute guys are just plain gorgeous.

"Melanie! Are you even listening to me?"
I snapped my eyes to my mom who I guess has been trying to tell me something.
"Uh, now I am." I smiled guiltily at her and she just rolled her eyes at me.
"I swear you are your fathers daughter. You two can't pay attention for more than a few minutes at a time!" She went back to whatever she was cooking.
"I heard that!" My dad yelled from his study.
"I wanted you to!" My mom yelled back.
I snorted and went back to flappy birds.
"As I was saying. You really need to stop zoning out."
"Tell that to my perfect 4.0 gpa." I grumbled as I got to fifty.
"Don't get snippy with me." She snapped, throwing a oven mitten at me, making me lose.
"Oh! I would never do that mother!" I laughed. I love my parents. They were just like teenagers, joking each other and me. There was never a dull moment in the Traigger house. "Hey, I've got to go."
"And where are you going?" My mom turned to me with an eyebrow raised.
"The mall with Jess." I hopped off my stool and went to my dads study. If I played this really cool I could get about forty bucks from him.
My dads study was actually my favorite part of the house. The wall farthest to the back was completely glass, like a beautiful painting of our spacious backyard. The wall to the left, the one my dads desk was facing held a huge flat screen. Behind him the wall was almost completely covered with pictures of me and my small family, pictures I drew for him, and some of my old report cards. To say my dad adored me would be putting it lightly.
"Hey daddy." I said innocently and batted my long eyelashes at him as I went and stood in front of his desk, blocking the news he was currently watching.
He rolled his eyes at me, not falling for my act for a second. Sighing he got out his wallet and with out even looking at me asked, "How much?"
I did a little happy dance in mind. "Maybe forty?" I gave him my best and sweetest smile.
"You better be glad I love you." He chuckled as he handed me a bill. "This is for gas too."
I gaped at the hundred dollar bill he put in my hand. "Thank you daddy!" I kissed his cheek and ran out of his study
"Be home by six. Some family friends are stopping by." I didn't even stop to wonder why his voice hardened when he said 'friends'. I was too happy about the money he gave me.
