Chapter 8: Shocking News Of My Lord Brother

A/N: Hi guys! I know I just updated yesterday but I just really wanted you guys to know what happened to Prince Izana, Zen's older brother. So I'll give your story after the recap. Enjoy

RECAP: "Prince Zen, I have some heartbreaking news about Prince Izana." the young man said distressed."What?! What is it about him?" I said surprised and worried. Even though he's the first prince of Wisteria he will always be my brother."Your highness, it's that he....." the knight said hesitating.

Zen's POV:

As the knight the knight told me about what had happened to my brother I was panicking but at the same time I was thinking about what could've happened to my brother. 

"Um..Your highness, it's just that your brother i-is... m-mis-missing," the young knight said scared of what my reaction would be.

But me being who I am and the second prince of Wisteria, I acted like nothing had happened. "W-well then...." I said. Not knowing what to say, I sighed. "Okay then, if brother Izana is missing then I need to know what happened. First you should tell me where he was at before he went missing. Second tell me if he was kidnapped or if he just ran away.

"O-okay. Well first of all he was found in the royal garden near the greenhouse for the herbs." The young man said hesitating.

"Wait, you said that he was in the royal garden? Why would he even be in the royal garden?" I asked curious and worried about what the knight is going to say.

"Well I'm not really sure why His Highness was in the royal garden because one of my comrades saw him standing there smelling a rose he said. When he noticed His Highness he went over and asked if he needed any assistance but His Highness said that he just wanted to smell the roses. Then a moment later he said that he wanted something to drink and my friend went to go get it for him. After 10 minutes when he returned to give His Highness his drink, he found him missing. He looked everywhere for His Highness and even reported it but just couldn't find him." The young man said sighing. 

"W-well it's okay I can send out a few search parties once we find out where he is or who he's with," I said thinking of a plan.

"O-of course, Your Highness," he said not surprised.

"Thank you for your help. You may go now," I said thanking and dismissing him at the same time.

"Of course, Your Highness. Please excuse me," and with that he turned and left the room leaving it at its original eeriness.

How can my brother be missing? He's always so careful about who he is with. Maybe a bit too careful might I add. Well I guess I can't help with that. I need to figure out a way to find where my brother is without the whole kingdom finding out and panicking. Hmmm. I think I should probably issue out a warning to everyone in the castle that knows about this problem to not spread the word. And when I thought that I looked out from the huge throne room windows to find that the sun was setting. I wonder if (Y/N) knows about this yet? I think she already knows because of all the gossip the maids of the palace have been spreading out. And with that I walked to the huge double doors and opened them to find that the halls were empty. Hmmm. I think it's just because it's late. And I walked the eerie halls and at one of the corners, when I turned I bumped into someone who I was not expecting at this time of the day. When I bumped into them they bumped into so hard that we both fell backwards.

"I-I'm so sorry. I can't believe that I bumped into you,"they said.

Hmm. Based on their voice it sounds like I bumped into a girl. 

"I can't believe I bumped into you" she said until she looked up and saw who I was.

"Prince Zen! I-I mean Zen, I'm sorry that I bumped into you without noticing."

"It's quite alright," I said as I got up.

"Oh you have a speck of dust on your clothes," she said as she got closer and wiped off the dust with her handkerchief.

"I-it's okay, really," I said surprised at her action.

"Oh okay then," she said and moved aside.

"Where are you heading to?" I asked curious.

"Umm.. I'm heading towards the greenhouse," (Y/N) replied.

"Oh okay. Do you want me to come with you?" I asked wanting to come along.

" Umm..." she said while hesitating on whether or not I should come.

"Ugh, why not?" she said giving in.

I help as a smile crept up my face. I tried to hide it but I figured that she saw when looked at me from the corner of her eyes.

"Okay then let's go," I said.

As we walked towards the greenhouse we talked about what we had experienced through the day. When we arrived I opened the glass door for her saying, "Ladies first".

When she got in and turned around, looking straight ahead of her with a horrified face.

As I saw where she was looking at I looked at the same place I saw something that I was not prepared to see. 

There,in front of us was a man dressed in fine clothing passe out on the greenhouse floor with his back towards us.

"W-what h-how?" she managed to choke out because of what we had in front of us.

I slowly and cautiously walked towards the man not knowing if he was acting or if he actually passed out. When I got near him I got prepared for the worst. One, the man could be seriously hurt or poisoned. Two, he could be someone I know that is really close to me. Or three, he could be dead.

I slowly reached out my hand and turned the man over. I then found out that he really close to me. And his face was extremely pale.

OMG!!!! I literally can't believe that i wrote 1104 words!!!  I am soo shocked. And my hands hurt really really bad. Anyway I am really sorry if this chapter killed you because of the cliffhanger and Zen's missing brother and stuff but yeah.
