First day of school

After moving everything in our house me and my mom just relaxed for the rest of the day. I just watched some TV and as usual there wasn't anything entertaining on so I turned off the TV and waited for my mom to cook dinner.
"Mom is dinner almost done?" I asked
"Don't worry Serena about five more minutes and it'll be done" My mom said. I just wanna eat dinner and go to sleep so I can go to school tomorrow and hopefully see him.
"OK Serena the food is done come and eat" My mom said. Finally I've been wanting to eat and end the day. I go to the kitchen and sit at the table and start eating my food.
"So you ready for school tomorrow" My mom asked me I stopped eating and started to reply.
"Yeah I actually can't wait for tomorrow"
"Well that's good you're not scared to start a new school year in a different school" Mom said. I started eating my food again and after about three minutes I finished my food and got ready for bed for the night.

The next day

I woke up and I got ready for school for today. Since it's the first day I really didn't need all of my school stuff mainly just a pencil. My mom is giving me a ride to school today since she don't work today.
"Serena you ready to go?" My mom asked me.
"Yeah I'm coming" I said as I went downstairs where my mom was waiting for me
"Well let's go" She said as she opened the door and went to the car as I followed. We got in the car and started to drive to school I like when I don't have to ride the bus I get to stay home longer before going to school. We arrived at the school and I got out of the car and headed into the school I go into the office so I can get my schedule for the semester. I go up to the counter and ask the lady behind it,
"Excuse me where can can I get my schedule?"
"You can get it in the principal's office right over there" She said pointing to a door.
"OK thank you" I say as I walk to the principal's door I knock on it and open the door to see the principal sitting at his desk looking at paper work.
"Um hello I'm here to get my schedule" I say as he looks up at me.
"You're Serena the new student right?" He asks me
"Yes sir I am" I say
"Well here is your schedule for the semester you better be off to class Serena and have a good year here at Pallet High" He says.
"Thank you and I will" I said as I walked out of the office. I walk down the halls looking at the classroom numbers so I can figure out which one I'm in. I found the classroom and walked in and there were some people here chatting since the bell didn't ring yet. The bell rings after a few minutes and we take our seats ready to start the day the teacher is in front of the classroom ready to say something until the door opens. I look at the door waiting for the person to come in. My heart stopped when I seen the person walk in.
"Why hello Ash you're here take a seat next to Serena over there so we can start" The teacher says. I see Ash coming walking towards me and my heart is pounding in my chest. Ash takes his seat next to me and gives me a smile and I smile back at him and the teacher starts talking.
"OK class since it is the first day of school I want everyone to get to know each other so talk to the person next to you" Ash turns in his seat and faces me and says,
"Hi Serena it's been a long time"
"A-ash" I say while starting to tear up since my love was right in front of me after all these years.
"Serena are you ok?" Ash asks me with worry in his eyes.
"I'm fine Ash I'm just so happy to see you again" I say as I wipe my tears away.
"I'm happy too serena. Do you wanna walk with me after school so we can catch up?" Ash asked me.
"Of course Ash" I say happily. Class ended after twenty minutes and it turns out that me and Ash have the first three periods together which I loved and I met one of Ash's friends named Dawn and May who were pretty nice. Lunch is next and Dawn, and May invited me to sit at their table with them which I agreed to. It's lunch time now and I'm in line with Dawn and May is already at the table with her lunch. Me and Dawn got to the table and Dawn introduced me to everyone. Everyone one this is Serena, Serena this is Misty, Iris, Shauna, Bonnie, May as you know and Miette Ash's girlfriend. My heart sank right when she said that. 'Ash has a girlfriend which means I can't get him back' I thought as I started to tear up.
"Serena are you ok?" May asked me
"I'm sorry" I said as I stood up from the table and ran out of the cafeteria crying. I didn't even care that I was in school I ran out the doors and ran home balling my eyes out.

Well there's chapter 2 almost 1000 words in this chapter. How about that Ash is dating Miette which caused Serena to break down and run home. What will happen when Serena gets home?
