A New Family

Ash's POV

It's finally the day of my baby's birth I'm so excited for this it felt like it was only minutes ago when Serena's water broke.

Flashback

"Ash let's get more baby stuff so we can be prepared" Serena says while grabbing my hand and leading me to a store.
"Ok calm down Serena we will get stuff" I can tell she is excited and I am too but I'm not in a big rush because we still got time.
"Ash look at these cute baby clothes"
"Those are pretty cute you wanna get it?"
"Yes! Let's get it" We got this this little outfit with a shirt that says 'daddy's little girl' and Serena was right it was cute. I just realized we're getting all clothes we haven't gotten anything like baby bottles or formula we thought our mom's would also get some stuff so we didn't worry about it that much but we should still get it just in case but if they did get some now we got back up.
"Serena should we get formula to?" I ask her
"Yeah I forgot about that there is just so much cute clothes"
"Well let's go get some formula before we forget again" We go to where the formula is and get a jar and a baby bottle. As I'm thinking about anything else we can get for the baby I hear a weird noise and Serena instantly freaks out.
"Ash! Ash! My water just broke we have to go to the hospital now!"
"Oh my god we'll get this stuff later let's go!" We hurry up and go back to the car and I drive to the hospital. Good thing we were already on the right side of town because baby's R us is over here so we came here. I drive over the speed limit to get to the hospital cause we need a doctor now.

End of flashback

That's how we got here and we got a room right away since this is serious. Serena is on a bed with the back lifted up and her legs spread ready for birth. The doctor comes in and tells Serena,
"Ok Serena we're going to need you to push ok" Serena starts pushing but I can tell she's in pain so I try to make her calm a little.
"It's alright Serena you can do it keep pushing"
"It hurts so bad I can't do it"
"Yes you can Serena you can do it I believe in you" Serena keeps pushing and the doctor says,
"The baby's almost here give me one last big push ok" Serena gives one more push and the baby comes out and the doctor cleans her up and taps her butt to make sure she is alive. Sure enough we heard a little cry from her the doctor does a little more and hands her to Serena who holds her with love.
"She's beautiful just like you" I tell Serena
"Yeah she is I'm so happy Ash"
"Me to Serena we're a family now"
"Well what should we name her Ash?" I've been thinking of some names for a girl and I picked one.
"I think we should name her Katy"
"That's a wonderful name Ash, Katy Ketchum"
"It's perfect just like her"

Nothing like a beautiful family moment right. Well there is the birth of Katy Ketchum. I loved writing this chapter to be honest it's always awesome to write a good family moment.
