I search through hundreds of different websites and non of the jobs seemed interesting, or have a good pay. Most of the choices were like being a 6th grade teacher or a flyer saying "hiring at Burger King!" It felt like it was hopeless to find a job, I couldn't find one decent job, just one. I continue to search and then found my phone next to the laptop, reading the address and phone number to the mystery job was drawing me. It felt like destiny siting on the table still, waiting for me to take it and stupid me, I was rejecting it. I grabbed my cell and looked one more time. I took in a deep breath."Well..." I say to myself . "...you only live once, right?" I punched in the numbers and the phone began to vibrate and ringing began, deep down I felt reject trying to crawl out of me. And telling myself "...what the heck am I doing?" After a few minutes a voice picked up.
"Hello?"
"Uh..." I stuttered. "Hi. I'm Libby, Libby Chester. And I believe you have spoke to my friend. His name is Andy, and he said you were looking to employ someone like me?" Wow, that could have gone worse...
"Oh yeah! Yes, I have spoke with him. Yes, well let me introduce myself, I'm Zak, Zak Bagans. Are you calling for a job?"
"Yes I am, is it possible if we meet up today? I am just really busy tomorrow and thought it would be best today..."
"Um sure that's actually fine, how about at... 1? Is that okay with you?"
"Perfect, see you there." I hung up and raced to the bathroom to get dressed.

He stands up and reaches out his hand for a professional hand shake, my hands became to sweat and I wiped of the sweat on my pants and reached out for a hand shake as well.
"Hi, its really nice to meet you. Well, here is my records and all my paper work that I have filled out and..." he stops me.
"No, you don't need any of that. All I need to know is what's your view on the after life? And do you believe in spirits?" He asks me. I look at him in confusion and then another flash back occurs to me, I stare out the window and then fall back.
When I was younger, I always waited in the living room and looked out the window for my parents to come home. When I saw the black Toyota pull up in the drive way, I know it was my mom home first, then my dad. But this time, it was different, I looked out the window and it was dark and rainy, the little light hanging in the dinning room barley held a little light, and the lamp near by me sometimes flicker when you jumped up and down on the creepy floors that creaked. I looked out the window and counted all the little rain drops, until the room got cold, my breath gave out a little fog and the window created frost. My heart rate became quicker and my mph increased drastically. I stepped back from the window, and then ran up stairs. As I hide in my room, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. It came straight to my room and it never open my door. I stayed in my room until my parents came home. Not knowing what happened.
"Libby? Are you there?" Zak asks me, while snapping his fingers.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry, I umm... yeah I believe there are spirits in this world, just roaming and have unfinished business. Why you ask?"
"Oh, I don't know if Andy told you but, this job is a ghost hunting crew. Is that alright with you? Are you up for the challenge?" Zeal says, crossing his leg across his other leg and stares and me for a response.
That asshole really just get me a job as a ghost hunter? That's it, I'm going to kill him. But then, I thought about, maybe I could understand why these things were happening to me, why my house was haunted and why it was here.
"Yeah, Andy didn't tell me 'specifically' what the job was but, I'm interested." I smile. "So, when do I begin?"
"Well, we actually have to be in Denver, Colorado today. We have our first hunt at this old house, so I suggest you start packing some stuff and we will pick you up at... 6? 6pm?" He says while getting from his chair and leading me to the door.
"Sure, I will be done by then." I say, walking toward the exit.
"Alright Libby, I will see you then." He opens the door and I walk through it, I spun around to come in face to face with him and then return the 'goodbye' too him. And I walked proudly down the hall to my car.

"Okay, toothbrush... toothpaste. Ugh what else am I missing?!" I rush back and forth to my bathroom and back to my bedroom, packing as fast as I could. I shoved in a pair of pants and pj's and some cute t-shirts. By the time I had my bag half way full I began to sweat and smelling pretty bad, so I rushed to take another quick shower and, like a freak, placed on A LOT of deodorant and some perfume. I checked myself in the mirror and shoved all my belongings to the front door. I checked the clock, it was only 5:25 pm. 35 minutes left before they came. I plopped down in the couch and faced the turn off tv screen and sat waiting.
"What can I do for the past 35 minutes?" I stared at the coffee table for a couple of minutes then a light bulb appeared over my head. Let me tune you into a secret, I can communicate with ghosts. And weird as it can be, they can sometimes talk back to me. Like a conversation we should say. I take out an ouija board and some scented candles, I turned of the lights and lit the candles, placed then in a circle and the ouija board in the center.
"Okay, deep breathes. You got this." I close my eyes sitting on my pillows and crossed my legs into a meditation position. I count to three and then place my hands softly on the board with the glass facing the center of the board. I wait a few minutes before a response but nothing happens. I want two more minutes but nothing else happens. Clearly this wasn't working, the ouija board was given to my by my friend Andy for my 20th birthday because apparently he "thought" I was a witch or psychic. It was already 5:35 pm and nothing happened. I began to clean up my space until the candles began to flicker, then the room grew colder. I grab my shoulders and shivers crawl down my spine. Then, in the corner of my eye, I saw the glass moving on the ouija board, slowly moving to letter to letter. I stared down, anxiously waiting to know what it says, my anxiety and fear increased. Then the glass stopped moving. The word spelled out.
