I sat still for a couple of minutes, not moving an inch. I studied the area and realized I was sleeping in the RV bedroom. It was cramped but it was good enough for traveling. The camp was quiet and all the three men were fast asleep, well except me.I slowly got up and walked to the small kitchen and grabbed some water from the faucet in a clear glass cup. It glittered in the reflection of the moon. I stare through the window and look at the lit up world by the moon. Quick and still. Peaceful and tranquility, but also 3:00 am. I peaked at the time on the stove with a red light color burning 3:01 am as the tick flicked onto one. My head started to spin and my vision was going blind. I drop the glass and hit my arm on the counter as I fall to the floor. Everything was blurred and my head and heart began to spin.
"What... the hell.." I say in my mind for my words can not come out of my mouth properly. As I impacted the ground, in my blurry vision I saw two- no four moving objects slowly rushing towards me and as they got closer their shadow overlaps my bright moonlight. I screamed "stop! Please leave me alone! I can't see!" I panicked and cried and then... I flat lined.
It was dark again. No light shines through as there was no moon. Just darkness. I flickered my eyes and a ray of light shot right at me. I squinted trying to adjust to the light and then I say it was the lamp right next to me. A nightstand holding it in place and then I felt a cold touch on my shoulder. It was getting colder and colder. I grab my shoulder in shock to see what was grabbing me and I scream in pain as I slam my hand on my shoulder. It was just a bag of ice. I scan the room, and realize this isn't my room. Where was I? I look and look until I hear footsteps behind the door. They came to the door and then the door slid open. It was Zak in the doorway.
"I see you're awake..." he says, coming to the corner of the bed and sits next to me. I slowly sit up using my other arm for support.
"Hey, did I wake everyone up?" I laugh a little, trying to cover up the pain that surrounded my arm.
"No, just everyone else was awake at this time and were roaming around... nothing to bad." Zak laughed and I chuckled a bit. "So, what happened? You fainted and fell to the floor and you were screaming like someone was going to murder you..."
I looked at the end of the bed and tried to remember exactly what happened. But it all was a blur.
"To be honest... I don't... remember." I look at Zak before moving my eyes away from him. "I don't remember anything. Just I woke up and then I ended up... here." Zak looks at me weird with a confused face. I could hear his head spinning with thought until I broke the silence. "Look, whatever it was, it was probably a nightmare and I was just sleep walking. Just go back to bed and we will figure the rest out tomorrow morning, okay?" I say, placing my hand on his hand. He looks up and smiles then emerges to the doorway before closeting the door behind him.
"Goodnight." He says softly.
"Goodnight." I reply before submitting into the memory foam bed. "Let's just hope whatever happened this night doesn't happen again...." I say softly.
