"I'm...a what?!" I shouted. The man looked at me confused.
"I thought I had made myself perfectly clear..." he said, frowning at me.
"That's...that's not what I meant." I said, shaking my head.
"Ok, well you have been down for this school since birth. Do you remember your Great Aunt Hilary? She was a witch. Like you." The man said, clearly satisfied. Like I was the answer to a riddle.
"Ok. When do I leave?" I asked, extremely calm now.
"Now if possible. The train leaves-" the man checked his watch. "In an hour. If you could go pack that would be wonderful. I will wait here. Your mother should go with you."
"Thank you." I said, and walked upstairs. My mom followed me into my room and we started packing. We had done this so many times that we went through the motions like robots. We didn't need to converse. We didn't need to reassure each other.
"Make sure you don't embarrass me." Was all my mother said. I nodded. We walked downstairs and the man paused, thinking we were going to say a teary farewell, but I just walked out the door.

"My name is Albus Dumbledore. As I already know your name, it would waste time to introduce yourself. Here are your tickets, you will need them when we get on the platform." He explained as he handed me an envelope.
     "Alright." I said slowly.
"I am going to take you to the platform myself. We will walk to the train station, it is very near." He informed me. I looked at him in wonder. He was very odd. It is incredibly hard to describe.
"Yes sir." I replied respectfully. He smiled at me and I returned it with happiness, them despair. My mothers parting words still etched in my brain. 'Don't embarrass me.' Tears came to my eyes, but I blinked them away. Too late now.
"Here we are!" Dumbledore said cheerfully. I looked up to see a brick wall.
"Er...sir? This is just a brick wall..." I said, hoping against hope that this wasn't a joke.
"Run through it." The man, Albus Dumbledore, told me. So I did. And what did I find on the other side? Magic.
