Chapter 16

I yawned as I got up from my sleeping position. I rubbed my eyes and I felt someone moving next to me. I turned to find its Ryan who is still sleeping like a baby next to me. I wondered how did I ended up sleeping on the bed? I should probably get out from the bed before Ryan sees me. So, I lift up my butt but I slumped on the bed as I felt pain on my foot. Damn it, how could I forget that I sprained my ankle.

Then I felt someone's hand wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to its body. "Ryan! What are you doing?!"I murmured to be released. "Shushhh, let me have my 5 minutes sleep. Close your eyes."As he closed his blue eyes. "Ryan! My foot you idiot! Let me go! Nenna will come over. Get off from me you silly plastic!"I punched his hard abs.

"I dont feel anything, you know. Let Nenna be then. She will loved to see this."He smirked.

"Get off Ryan! Its not funny! Dont give me that stupid smirked!"I slapped his face. He groaned while brushing his cheek where I had slapped. Atlast he released me.

"You still havent recovered from the sprained."He got up from the bed reached out his arm to get the towel. 

"I know and that is why I am still laying on bed."I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."Ryan closed the bathroom dorr behind him.

"I think I like those one dont you think Flo?"Charlotte asked me. 

"Yup more actions."I said. Catherine, Charlotte, Nenna and I were sitting on the couch at living room. Watching Ryan's movie. Nenna's favourite movie of him, The Gangster Squad. She had been talking about how she really loves Ryan's acts. Well who am I to ignored it. I used to be his one of fanatic until I know his true colours. 

"Guys! Really? My movie? I dont like seeing me. Turn it off."Said Ryan which nowhere to be seen. 

"Oh please dont give that lame excuses!"Hushed Nenna. Ryan suddenly appeared and sat next to Nenna while patted her. 

"Dont do this Nenna. You know me that well arent you?"He smiled mischievious to Nenna. 

"Well I kinda miss the Ryan jr. Alright then Catherine, will you change the movie instead?"Ordered Nenna as Catherine nodded as yes. 

After two hours passed the cast list started to appeared signify that the movie has end. We heard someone opened the house door and to be seen its Colton. He grinned to our gazed. "Sorry I was late. Got something to be settled. Hey, where are you going?"He asked as he sees Catherine leaving the living room. "Im sorry. I'll be back."He excused us. Quickly ran to get Catherine. 

I turned to see Ryan with his sarcastic face. I knew that kind of expression. I need to talk to Ryan about this. You see Catherine acted coldly to Colton is because she felt insecured around Colton. Maybe she started to lose his trust. I cant let them call off the wedding. It cant be happen. 

"Ryan, can you walk me to bedroom? I feel so sleepy. Goodnight guys."I bid them a goodnight. Ryan nodded and walked me to our bedroom. He placed me at the side of bed slowly not to hurt my foot. I think its getting better every hour. I twitched my lips to say thanks. 

"Hey we need to talk, Ryan."I pulled his elbow and he turned to face me. He pulled the chair near him and sat next to me. 

"What is it?"I looked at his curious question. 

"Its about Colton and Cathy."I smiled. 

"Oh come on. Its nothing to do with me. So why?"He brushed his face. 

"Do you really think so?"I wrinkled my face.

"Please not this time."He tried to shrugged the question.

"Ryan please. Its about you and Colton too. He told me everything."I admitted.

"WHEN?!"He shouted.

"Ryan listen! This is about Colton and Catherine's relationship. It have been this far. They're getting married forGodsake. Colton feels uneasy if you cant accept their relationship and...and and as for Cathy she thought that Colton might leave her and we dont to be that."I persuaded.

"NO YOU FLO LISTEN TO ME! YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO KNOW ABOUT ME AND COLTON. DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? OR MAYBE YOU FORGOTTEN WHO YOU WERE. FLORENCE YOU ARE JUST ONE OF MY SECRETARY AND NOT MORE THAN THAT! STAY AWAY FROM MY FAMILY BUSINESS. YOU GOT NO SHAME ARE YOU?!!"He stood and yelled like a maniac at me. I was stunned by his words.

Me? I dont have a shame? "Yes I am one of your secretary but remember Ryan you dragged me here and dont forget that you pushed me until I sprained my ankle AND no sorry? I did these because I feel Colton's problem!"I said as everyone ran to our room to see what was going on. I bet they heard us. 

"And because of you! They seems to have a problem. Colton loves her so much. Stop being a jerk Ryan. They loved each other and at least they have a thought of spending their whole life together. Unlike you! People change Ryan. Forgive him."I brushed his arm softly. Trying to calm him down.

"Ryan, is that true? That um...you didnt bless our relationship?"Cathrine asked. I could sensed that she wanted to cry. 

"Its not that. Hey Catherine, I didnt object your wedding am I? I want you to be happy. If you are happy being with Colton, then go on. Go for it. Im not mad. As for you, Colton....I fo...for..forgave you. Please take care of my sister. If you still dared to hurt her you will be facing me for a second time, understand?"Ryan finally talked and forgave. 

"Bro, Ive always love your sister. Ive always set my eyes for her. Dont worry but I think she dont feel the same way. She hates me well I d---"Catherine cut Colton off by hugged him tightly. She kissed Colton's forehead. Giving him a sweet grinned. 

"I think we should filming these drama Charlotte. What do you think?"Nenna asked Charlotte who was  smiling to us. 

"Do you know what mum? I think I love this scene wayyy more better than the others right mama?"Charlotte naughtily smirked. 

"GET OUT!!!"Ryan shooed them off as we all laughed.

After the big scene I'd faced, I was so exhausted. I tried to closed my eyes when Ryan grabbed me closed to him. 

"Thanks for today Flo. Im sorry for everything. Im such a dumb. Thank you so much you that have ease all of my burden. Goodnight Sweetie."He kissed my forehead. I smiled to him as he started to drift off to sleep. 

I was so happy when he kissed my forehead. But I realized that I was his only secretary. No more than that. Wake up Flo. He wont go for you. 

Yeah, Youre just his secretary. You cant go that far. Remember that.
