Hi! I am really sorry for the humongous delay you guys were forced to bear 'cuz of me! Sorry once again. But I swear to be a diligent writer from now on. Seeya!

Even though my weirdly powerful magic attracted attention, I don't think that attracted the whole school's attention. Well, my so-called guide did it. Everything seemed to blur. I could only make out some reactions here and there- the girl's shocked expressions, Ihsura blurring into a weak light and disappearing, the roaring questions, the teachers yelling to maintain peace and order and the Professor guiding me back through the portal towards his office.
By the time I regained my senses, I had sitting on the chair in front of the Professor's desk for the past 10 minutes. I looked around in search of my friends but to no avail. Even that unicorn was gone. A soft whirring sound above me attracted my attention and I looked up. The Professor was on a Crystal plate that seemed to be levitating with the help of a purple light. He seemed to be in deep research and only heard me after I yelled his name thrice.
He simply nodded and grabbed a few books and slowly and gracefully, the plate came down to fit the elaborate crystal design's centre on the floor. Professor Heathrow was led towards me and motioned for me to sit. I opened my mouth to ask what was going on but I was silenced.
"After seeing your Companion, I have arrived at a conclusion that you are not of an ordinary lineage but of one that had been hidden on Earth for so long that their powers are now forgotten completely. I have been researching and have found that there is a method by which we can figure out your Mage ancestors but it requires the help of our ruling leader: King Niandro the Fourth. Though he will be busy with his son's coronation, he may be able to help us. Also.....Um, Lucy? Are you alright?" Asked a concerned Professor.
My mouth hung open. For one, could I really be someone of utmost importance to have so much power? And another, how did this man research so much in a mere 10 minutes?
"As I was saying," he continued as I closed my mouth,"we will also need a potion which you will have to make while I go after the King. I shall give you the recipe. The ingredients can be found in the Infirmary. Simply show the nurse this permission slip."
I gathered the two papers and guessing our conversation to be over, got up to leave. "Oh and Lucy! Not an word about anything that we discussed to anyone. Now, go find your friends."
The moment the door closed behind me, I ran for my dorm. Not stopping even if I bumped into someone. I slammed the door shut and sank into my bed. As the girl's crowded around me, we exchanged our information. It seemed that the whole school was in an uproar, wanting to know about me. Putting the papers from Professor Heathrow on my bedside table, I got up and took out the now life-sized books from my trunk.
The girls kept giving me worried looks but I simply waved them off. This was more important. We decided to begin with 'A Guide to Control Your Power by Merlin' since I didn't want to go overboard from now on. I wanted some space to think so I asked everyone to go about their usual business and told them that I would inform them if I got and good information.
Agreeing, we went to our own beds. After I began reading, I began to understand why my magic was so powerful. Early historians categorised Mages into four categories:
Royal
Noble
Peasant
Magicite
All nobleman and such came into the Noble category. All members of the royal family were the only one who were from the Royal category the sole exception being Merlin who had a distant relation with the First King of Avalencia. The people with medium level magic were in the Peasant category. The rest, meaning the people with the least or minimum magic are the Magicite.
The best way that the Royals and the Nobles control their power is by limiting the pull of the energy threads. This can be learnt through the help of one's Companion or by training mentally for years. Well, since I didn't have that much time, so looks like she would have to ask Ishura about this. I looked at the clock on the wall; not that late to go to the infirmary. I could probably get the ingredients for the potion. I got up to leave and quietly slipped out without the girls noticing.
Finding the infirmary on my timetable-map, I ended up in front of yet another set of symmetrical double door with intricately designed fairies and butterflies on flowers. I tried to push open the doors but the stupid things just wouldn't budge. I heaved in distress and was about to leave when the doors in front of me glowed! All the light gathered at the centre of the doors in a ball shape and came forward. Slowly, the light began changing into the figure of a person-a woman with wings. The light dissipated and a lightly glowing fairy was left in its place. Her brown hair in a tight bun, she had full lips with a pink shine, warm blue eyes that seemed to look into your heart and amazing make-up skills that could put professionals to shame. Her long yellow dress shimmered as if embedded with stars and her wand had a justly bright star on its end. Her wings were similar to those of Tinker Bell but matching her size and looking more beautiful and delicate.
"I am the Gaurdian of Light, and caretaker of the Infirmary. As life is brighter than light, how to aid it have you come here?", she asked.
"I am here to get some ingredients for a spell to find my lineage. Could I please get inside?"
"Ah! The Lineage Potion- a delight creating that one. Yes, you seem like someone who could possibly light the potion yourself. I shall grant you entry but be warned- take what is not needed and you shall face the consequences."
O. My. God! This powerful fairy created that potion? And she was a Gaurdian of freaking Light! That's so awesome. She pointed her wand at the door and a beam of light shot out. She didn't even need to say a spell. As the door creamed open, she became a ball of light again and disappeared.
I guess that I should get started then. That potion isn't going to make itself! I barely took a step in when I heard someone behind me yell, "Hey! What are you doing here?"
