~Story 1: The Lost Forest~

(Bethany's POV)

Hi I'm Bethany. I am hanging out with my stupidly crazy friends right now. We are playing truth or dare at the moment. So far John had to drink toilet water and Jesse had to scream out the window that someone was killing her. It is now Evan's turn.

"Evan? Truth or Dare?" Jesse asked.

"Dare." He said confidently.

"I dare you to go into The Lost Forest." Jesse said with a smirk.

You see, Evan is very confident. Also fearless. He would always choose dare and Jesse would give him the worst possible dares ever. She once gave him a dare to hang from the balcony in my apartment for 30 seconds. As you suspected.......he did it. With no hesitation either, he got up with a smirk on his face and went to my balcony. He went over the railing and hung over a busy city street, with speeding cars, 35 stories up, at night.

We timed him and once his time was up he came back over the railing and stood there little it was normal. We just looked at him like he was crazy, which he was. I strongly believe and fear that if someone dared him to shoot himself in the mouth, he would do it.

But this is worse. The Lost Forest is a huge forest about 30 minutes from where I live. I know what your thinking right now.

What's so bad about that?

What's bad about that is everyone who has ever went in, has never come out. And everyone in my town knows that anyone who goes in that forest must want to die. Their a lost cause if they go in there. I can only hope he backs down.

"Ok." He said a smirk on his face.

"What! Your actually going to do that?" Jesse asked.

"Your asking for a death wish my friend." John said.

"It can't be that scary." He said like it was nothing.

"Do you remember when the Jones' son lost his drone because it crashed in the forest?" I asked.

"Ya." They all said.

"He went to get it, and was never saw again." I said.

"That's a lie." Evan said.

"Well, I'll have you know I was his babysitter at the time and I was never asked to babysit again. Once I asked why, they said he went missing." I explained.

"Under your watch?" Jesse asked.

"No, under someone else's watch. I was on vacation when it happened. But if I was watching him I would have told him not to bother, and that it would be 'broken'." I said using air quotes.

"I don't believe you." Evan said looking at me suspiciously.

"Believe what you want. But it's true." I said crossing my arms.

"I will. And I don't believe you." He said.

"Ok, go ahead, die. Be my guest." I said.

"You know I was joking, right?" Jesse asked.

"Please say your not going to do it." John begged.

"Joke or not, it was a dare and I'm going to do it." He said holding his head up high.

"I'll start planning the funeral now, call his mom and tell him he's gone missing. I want the search party for your body to start as soon as possible. Even though they would probably just say he's gone because they don't want to go in that forest." I said.

"You don't have faith in me?" He asked.

"It's not that we don't have faith in you.......it's just we know we won't see you again." John said.
