(Hi Hi~~ This is back to real time now!! And there's a little bit of a time skip!)

*It was almost winter now. Winter is usually not that bad for this town, but this year it was expected to be worse. Leaves that were on the ground before are now shriveled and powder like. Days were getting shorter and the people more anxious. Christmas was creeping slowly around the corner. They still had a lot of time but were intimidated by the growing number on the calendar.*

"I can't believe it's almost winter break already!!" Lizzy shouted out.
Michael nodded and finished chewing his cookie. "Yeah I know right!"
"It really came fast this year huh?" Ben sat up in the café booth.
Michael nodded his head with wide eyes in agreement. "It came way to fast!" He laughed.
Lizzy leaned over and flicked Michael in the forehead. "Never say that again!! Christmas can never come too fast!!"
Michael held his forehead. "Why'd you have to hit me so hard?!!! I hurrrtsssss!!" He cried out.
Ben held his shoulders and consoled him.

(Lizzy's Head) Hmmmmm.... I think they'd make a good couple... They fit each other's types... Too bad they both don't know the other is gay... Maybe I should tell them... I think it's quite obvious though...

*They exited the café swiftly putting their coats back on and bracing for the cold. They shivered as they stepped out and started walking towards the suburbs. It was a Saturday and they had decided to hang out and have breakfast together. Lizzy's phone started to ring and she hustled to take off one of her gloves and answer it.*

"Hello? Oh hey Mom!"
Michael and Ben continued to walk trying to give her a bit of privacy.
"I wonder what's going on?" Michael worried as he looked back at Lizzy still standing there.
"I'm pretty sure it's probably nothing to worry about." He calmed Michael.
"Y'know... you worry way too much..." Ben chuckled.
"Don't make fun of me!! I just... don't like conflict!!" He said turning back around and continuing to walk on.

*After Ben's laugh stopped, it was silent. Their short breaths became more evident in the cool winter air. They were both walking with their heads down to the ground to avoid the oncoming wind. Hearing soft footsteps getting louder Ben turned around. He was met by a pale faced Lizzy.*

"Are you okay?" Michael said now looking at Lizzy's shivering figure.
"Yeah-- I'm mostly alright-- I just had to run to catch up with you guys!" Her gummy smile showed between her hair that was all over her face.
"Sorry we didn't wait! We just thought you would like privacy while you were on the phone!" Ben said taking out his hands to make a praying notion but quickly shoving them back in the pockets of his coat.
"It is way to cold out here!! We should get inside somewhere!!" Michael shuffled on his feet trying to add effect.
"Well, I have to get home... My Mom has a surprise for me or something..." Lizzy looked like she was really confused about something.
"Ooooo!! Make sure to text me and tell me what it is when you find out!!" Michael said excited for her.
"Lizzy the flower shop is really close to here isn't it?" Ben said pointing up to the road sign above them.
"Yeah it's one block that way..." She said pointing down another small street.
"Okay, I'll take him there so he can get warm... See you Monday!" Ben took off walking in one direction and Lizzy in another.

*Michael was confused for a second but then yelled goodbye to Lizzy and ran up to Ben. He quietly walked next to Ben for a second before they came up upon a house with a small sign on it. They walked up the path to the door. Ben opened and held it for Michael to walk in.*

"Welcome!" A lady shouted from the back of the shop.
"It's me Mrs. Felto! And I brought a newcomer!" He shouted happily.
She walked out of the back. "Nice to meet you..."
"Michael!"
"Nice to meet you Michael!!" She shook his hand and went back to watering the flowers. "To what do I owe this wonderful visit?"
"Well, my friend here was really cold..." He swung his arm around Michael's shoulder and continued. "So I thought we could stop by to warm him up a bit!"
"Hey! You were cold too!! Don't act like you weren't!" Michael spat at Ben whose arm was still on him.
"No fighting kids! You can stay here but you have to do some work!" She smiled and instructed them.
"I'd be happy to help!! What do we need to do?" Michael questioned her.
