The water is more calmer than usual, I feel hurt and confused. Why was there a Phoenix? I felt safe for some reason even though this is the most dangerous river.. I open my eyes preparing for the water but nothing comes at my face. I open my mouth in shock and wait for the water to come in. Nothing happens. Air surrounds my body protecting me. I come up to listen for a scream. I can only hear the running water. "SCREAM AGAIN I AM COMING" I hear nothing a almost give up before I hear another scream, it came from the left side. I dive down, swimming faster and faster. I shoot out of the water fall waiting for impact. To my surprise a water Phoenix holds me up. This time it was water. I was thrown up into the air then landed on the back of it. It seemed calm and ready to follow orders. I decided to try. "Hey, let's go find that girl ok?" Before I knew it we are diving down. I manage to hold on to the neck. We stop and examine and area and I spot the girl laying face up into the water. I steady the girl and get ready to dive. I push off the bird and dive into the water. Air surrounds me again, I swim to the girl. She brown with black curly hair. I pick her up and swim up the water Phoenix grabs her as I climb up the foot. (Water is the smallest out of all of them water, fire, air, and earth but earth isn't coming in yet) I climb up to her back and have her hold the girl in her claws. I spot the clearing where I landed. I climb down and grabbed the girl and let the water Phoenix sit in the river. Sun had just began to rise. I notice that water was splashing something. I looked over and tried to see what it was. A Phoenix made of air slowly turns visible. It was amazing. It dried itself quicker than ever. Compared to each other the water Phoenix was pretty short. I didn't care. I try to help the girl by trying to give her air. The Phoenix's help me, she finally wakes up as I hear footsteps and voices coming closer. The water Phoenix flew up and the air falcon covered me and the girl. I watch as Zane and kieran walk past and stop.
"Zane, we screwed up"
"No kidding..."
" what are we going to do?"
"She a Phoenix warrior," Kieran sighed "she got the blood of a fire and earth Phoenix, tears of a water and air Phoenix."
"She has an army at her hand."
"She is gonna win the war." Keiran
"are you sure?" Zane asked
"Check, I guess."
Zane looked skeptical as he took off his glasses and covering his eyes
"I see it too."
"2/20 has seen it"
"Well, let's go find her."
"Agreed"
They walked away but this time the girl was staring at me.
"Hey." I notice she was scared
"..."
"Are you ok?"
"..."
"It's ok they gone...I will not let them touch you"
"Who are you?"
"Lilith. Lilith of the..."
"Of the?"
"I'm Lilith, lilith of the Phoenix tribe"
"What? That isn't a tribe."
"Are you sure?" I smirk. The Phoenix's line up behind me. Water and air show signs of confidence. She watches me as I remain Calm. "They won't hurt you. They saved you."
She nods.
"We going to leave soon. Ok?"
"Why?"
"We are not safe, people are lurking around as well as people who want war and to win"
"Aha, found you" I turn around to be tackled and pinned. I look and see Kieran's face. He smiles proudly
"Eh, not your best work" I smile as he smirks
"Awww, upset your pinned"
"Nope"
"You and your little friend lost."
"Eh, haven't made friends
"This is to protect you" I hear Zane.
"No, it isn't," she replied sharply, I look over at the girl trying to get away from Zane. I felt bad for her. She been awake for five minutes and she was already under attack. I hear something move in the water getting close to me. I turn to kerian and smile.
"Heh, your right for once"
"What?"
"I will stop the war, for the Phoenix tribe"
"What?" Kieran looks shock that I know "how do you know"
"For another time" I hear one of the Phoenixs screech and feel something brush my face and hit Kieran.
"What the hell." Blood rushes from Kieran's face. I get up and rush over to Zane pinning him down. Letting the girl get on the water Phoenix. I lift an arm up grabbing the claw of the air Phoenix and hop on its back. The other Phoenix is mid-air with the girl on her back. We fly enough to where they can't each us. I get up and walk out to the wing. I yell down "give Nehe a message: I WILL fight in this war, until you have fallen. The tribe never was yours nor will it be.... For I forbid it, I the Phoenix tribe leader hope that you will listen to out cries." I tap the wing with my foot and we take off. It felt so natural flying on a giant bird. Just last night I ruled people now I rule Phoenix's.

Howdy, so I decided to make this book a series called The Phoenix. I decided because I like the idea of it. So the name also has changed. Before it was Tear, Blood, and War. Now it's Tear, Blood, and a War. {book One of the Phoenix series}. I also decided Phoenix's because that is my favorite mystical bird.
