The chosen one (Book two) (Jack Frost x reader)

Chapter 2

You couldn't sleep. You were actually scared. You were 'sleeping' in Jacks bed because your bed were ruined by Pitch. Jack wrapped his arms around you and lied his head on your shoulder. "You can't sleep" He said soft. "Yeah, I'm a little... shaken after what was written on my walls" You said and closed your eyes. "You need to sleep, you'll need the energy. Remember what you said, you need your nap" Jack said and you laughed.

"Yeah.." You turned around so you were now face to face. "Do you think my dad know whats going on?" You said and Jack shook his head. "No, but I hope he helps us, if you can't fight" He said and you stared at his eyes. Those ice blue eyes. He stared right back at your e/c ones. Jack kissed your forehead and hugged you tight afterwards. "Promise me to not get hurt" He said and you hummed. "I promise" Then you drifted off to sleep. 

You opened your eyes to meet Jack's. "We need to get ready" He said and sat up. "Yeah, we need to meet the others soon" You said and got out of bed and closed your eyes. You transformed to something you could fight in. "Are you sure you're okay?" Jack said and grabbed his sweater. "He ruined my bed, and painted on my walls.. Not only that, but he got in my room. What if I was still asleep?" You said and fixed your cape. Jack stayed quiet. "Hey, I'm alive" you said and hugged him. "I'm just worried" you could hear his voice crack. 

"I'm not going to die, if so, my dad will not tolerate it" You said with a smile. "But then you'll come back with no memories" He said and broke the hug a little, so your forehead were touching. "Tooth will fix that" you smiled and pecked his lips. "Come on, the others are waiting" You said and grabbed his hand. 

"Hello sleeping beauty" Bunny said and saluted. "Hello kangaroo" You saluted back with a grin. "You ready to fight?" North said with a smile. "Yup" You said with a huge smile. "You remembered to brush your teeth?" Tooth said and you nodded. Jack playfully elbowed you in the side with a laugh. "Okay, maybe" you smiled.

All the thoughts of what could happen on this revenge plan was washed away. All you focused on what Edens power and how she can fight. Since Pitch made her, means they would have to fight against him and Eden. They had a hard time fighting Pitch alone, now with two? 

You and the rest made their way to the sleigh. "I'll take the safest way" Bunny said and stopped. "Oh come on" North said and grabbed Bunny's ears and placed him next to you. "Are you sc-" You didn't even get to finish that sentence before North started the sleigh and Bunny hugging you. "Lay off my girlfriend" Jack said and laughed. "You're squeezing the daylight out of me" You said and struggled to get out of Bunny's grip, but there was no chance of getting out. 

"Let that poor girl be" Tooth said and laughed. "No way, she can fly, I can't- So if I fall down, she'll save me" Bunny said and you pointed at Jack and Tooth and Sandy. "We all can fly, well, except you and North" I pointed out. "WHY FLY WHEN YOU HAVE THIS" North yelled, thinking you all were deaf and made the sleigh fly faster. 

You hugged Bunny too and screamed along with Bunny. Jack laughed and almost fell out of the sleigh. 

You soon were at Pitch's cave, or hole. "So, are you sure you're ready?" Jack said as he stepped out of the sleigh, helping you. "Yes, I'm ready" You said as you smiled. "Once you walk down that hole, well, jump in that hole, there's no way back" Jack said and you nodded. "Yeah, I know" you said and looked at all the others. "You all ready?" You said and they nodded. "Well here we go" You said and jumped in the hole. 

Once you went through the hole, you landed on you butt. You got up and looked around. No one was there. Soon, all the guardians were down in the cave. "You see anything?" Jack whispered to you and you shook your head. "No, I don't.." You said and turned around. "Well hello, princess" Pitch voice sang through the cave. "Hello queen~" You said back and used your power to light up the whole cave. "Forgot that the little princess is the princess of sun and the moon?" You said and Pitch was visible in the 'shadows'.

"How could I forget?~ Oh you brought company, I see you got my message?" Pitch sang and you growled. "Yeah, kinda.. please don't ruin the curtains next time, they were expensive" You said and crossed your arms. "Oh I can try next time, sweet heart" Pitch smiled, and a horrible smile. "Ew.. I guess you haven't smiled in a long time. Your face still says 'Stay away'" You said and made a grimace. "How longer can you stay up with this confidence act" Pitch's smile soon turned to a frown. 

"Meh, I know who your secret weapon is" You said and crossed your arms. "Oh? And who may that be?" He said and soon smiled. "Can you please keep one face expression? Its creepy" You said and laughed. You coughed and continued your conversation. "Well, you may call her Eden, by any chance..  She can control puppets, darkness and stone" You said and Pitch smiled. 

"I present you, the strongest myth in all time!! Eden!!" He said and black sand flew everywhere and Jack pulled you towards him to shelter you. Evil laughter was heard and a cold breeze. North gasped and soon did the others. 

You slowly opened your eyes and your breath got caught in your throat. Tears began to form in your eyes and you couldn't move.
