Chapter 8

~Your pov~

"We can't be trapped," You said as Daisy used her magic to lighten the cave. "This is unbelievable" You muttered as you stared at the cage in front of you. The bars were made with black sand and it seemed to shrink the more you moved. "Welcome to the show~" A dark voice sang in the cave. 

A sudden fear shot through you as you stared at Daisy. You two locked eyes and she cracked a smile. "I'm sure you noticed the bars, haven't you?" Pitch said as he approached the cage. "It's me and Eden's work. It's really hard but once you got the right magic~" He stopped and looked at Daisy. "How are you still alive?" He smirked and opened the cage just a for her to be dragged by black sand. 

"I'm pretty sure I killed you a long time ago" He caressed her cheek with his hand and smiled. "Can't you just fight like a man for once?" You yelled and took a step towards the bars, only for them to close in on you. "I suggest you keep that pretty mouth shut Y/N, or it will cost you" He said and used his nail to cut Daisy's cheek. 

You opened your mouth but was met with Daisy's glare. "What have you done with my parents?" Daisy said and stepped back. "Oh, you mean the old hag and the old man? Yeah, they did put up a good fight" Pitch smiled a sick smile. 

You looked at Jack, who seemed to stare at you all the time, and looked towards the bars. "Oh, don't you try Y/N" Eden suddenly appeared behind Pitch. She seemed stronger and more confident. "Oh, you seem scared~" Eden said as she walked towards the bars. You couldn't help but follow her little frame. 

"Is there something on your mind, princess?" She sang the princess part as she laughed. "Let my family go, or else-" "Or else WHAT? Can't you see! Your time here is over! The new 'princess' of the galaxy is old! People need a new fear, something children and grown men will fear! And that's me, sweetheart," Eden said as you stared at her. "You may have my parents, but you will never take away my dignity" And with that, you grabbed a burnt cookie from your pocket and threw it on her face. 

She stumbled in surprise. "NOW!!" You yelled as all of the guardians used their powers on the bars. North used his swords, followed by Bunny who used his boomerang, Tooth with her sword, Jack used his magic and last but not least, you with your magic. 

The bars collapsed and turned into dust. You dased to save Daisy, but just as you jumped at Pitch a sudden blast hit you right on the side. You flew a good meter before landing with a thud. You realized that blast was Eden, who had speared you. She began to lash out at you, hitting you with her fist and used some of her magic. 

You help up your hands and tried to block some of it. You succeeded and threw her off of you. You quickly stood up in a battle stance as she did the same. "Snap out of it Cassandra" You began as you looked her dead in the eye. "Who's Cassandra? Did I really punch you that hard?" She began to laugh. "Cassandra is the girl who you possessed, also my old friend who sacrificed her life for me" 

"Ah, did you go soft for some-" You cut her off by shooting fire in her direction. "Don't you dare. You'll never be as good as her" You said and felt her stance weaken. "Y/N, you're talking about a mortal" She laughed as she charged for you. The only thing you did was step away. "If she was a mortal, it means you got the body of a mortal" You said with a smile. 

'Her weakness is herself' You thought as you turned around to face her. "You see, I only need to land a hit on you, then you're gone, finished, finito" You saw the fear in her eyes. "The only difference between us that I'll be reborn, not... you" 

That seemed to trigger her cause she lashed out all of her energy on me. You made a shield after shield as she continued to use all of her magic. The cave seemed to give in as the others stopped and watched. She started yelling at you as you started to back up. 'I only need one opening' You thought as you watched her every single move. 

"Y/N! THE CAVE IS GIVING IN!" Jack yelled as he helped Sandy out of the cave. Apparently, they freed him. Eden continued her fighting. You sent Jack a smile as stones began to fall down. North and Bunny came running past you with your parents and stopped at the exit. "Y/N! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, COME ON!" North yelled with his thick, Russian accent. 

"SORRY NORTH, I CAN'T CHANGE MY DESTINY" You yelled as the cave slowly began to collapse. You stepped away from Eden as she stopped her fighting. I looked at Jack, Daisy and the rest by the exit, yelling for you to come with them. I trapped Pitch and Eden with my magic and cracked a smile. "Nor can you guys" 

Then the cave collapsed.
